Alex and Yasmine are two of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet. The road is truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed, their attention to detail is extraordinary. From the decor around the hotel to the little Fes hats on our bed when we arrived! They were so helpful in making sure we knew our way around and even had the staff meet us to walk us back to the riad because we were nervous about getting lost (it’s not that difficult but we have a bad sense of direction). I would go back here to stay 1000 times more if I could!

This riad is incredible! Beautiful, spacious rooms, and a perfect location. I absolutely adore the decor. Yasmine was such a great host from start to end. I highly recommend and only wish I was staying longer. I hope to return one day! Also, there’s one of the cutest pups in the world - Mimba.

My wife and I had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Riad Le Calife. The owner Yasmine was very friendly and helpful, as were the Riad staff too. The Riad itself is beautiful and a very relaxing place to be, whether in the courtyard or on the roof terrace. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinner in the restaurant where there are fine views over the city of Fes. Overall Riad Le Calife has the feel of a real quality boutique hotel and we were very glad we chose to stay here whilst in Fes, and would wholeheartedly recommend.

I rarely write reviews on tripadvisor. Only when things go particularly badly or well do I put virtual pen to virtual paper and, well, this is one of those occasions. Riad Le Calife is simply beautiful. Yasmin and her staff are so friendly and made us feel welcomed in Fez. Sipping a cold beer on the roof terrace as the sun set to the sound of call to prayer was so much better than being in the rain and wind back home! The Riad evokes the 1940's with historical telephones and wirelesses, exquisite stained class and a bar right out of the classic movies. I wholeheartedly concur with so many other reviewers, you won't regret staying here.

This is the place to channel your inner Humphrey Bogart. Every detail of this Riad is intentionally chosen to evoke a sense of place right out of the movie Casablanca. Excellent and attentive service, an extraordinary guest room and an ornate bar downstairs made this a truly memorable experience. So much care and thought went into every detail of this Riad. The proprietor is gracious and charming, and helpful with recommendations and reservations! And compared to other Riad locations, this one was easy to locate within the labyrinth of streets. Highly recommend. We will be going back if ever in Fez again!

Authentic, friendly , beautiful rooms and well run by Alex and Yasmine who are extremely helpful with all their knowledge of Fez and Morocco. It’s a great pleasure spending a couple of days in their Riad and enjoy their hospitality. The rooms are very spacious and well decorated.

Riad Le Calife was like a peaceful oasis for us. While Fez can sometimes be a bit intimidating and overwhelming, this Riad was always a place where we could slow down. Yasmine and all the staff are the best, super friendly, super helpful, always there to help us. The food was great, the room was great. I cannot recommend this place enough. The stealer of the show was always Bimba, the dog. Best arrival-commitee ever seen.
