Pousada Ecológica Akanã

I had the most amazing experience staying at this Pousada, they have the best view of the island and the best customer service. The customer service starts as soon as you make a reservation with them. They text you to guide you through the intricacies of traveling to the island, from the taxes and fees you have to pay, to any reservations you may want to make before getting there, and providing a shuttle to pick you up at the airport. Once there, you realize you have the best views of the island at the pool. They provide a sample itinerary which you can customize with things you may want to do (they provide options without being pushy), answer any questions you have, and they also help make all the reservations for you. The facilities are modern. You start everyday with breakfast with many delicious options. When you have an activity, they will suggest things you may need want to bring and they will prepare it for you, a cooler with water, snorkeling gear, etc, to ensure you have the best experience possible. And as nice as the island was, we were sure to be back to end our day relaxing by the pool at sunset to enjoy the view. They also have a restaurant on premise with great food. Anytime I come back to this island, I will be staying with them. Thank you so much to the staff that made this experience possible.

Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The view, the service, the pool, the room were all spectacular! Best view on the island & we got to sit & eat breakfast every morning looking at it! Everyone was so nice & helpful during our stay. We can only hope to return some day!

The most wonderful, friendly, comfortable and beautiful place we’ve ever visited. Arkana makes you feel like family while subtly running everything with utmost skill and professionalism. Breakfast is magnificent, the dinners are served on your private balcony and feature dishes like roasted octopus risotto, and the rooms are all immaculate, spacious, and gazing out over a spellbinding ocean view. Just extraordinary

We just spent 4 nights at the beautiful Poussada Akanã. It was an incredible experience. I can honestly say I have never stayed in a place where the staff were so unfailingly polite, attentive, friendly, efficient and absolutely at the top of their game. The place itself is attractively and comfortably designed and from any end of the establishment you are graced with the stunning view of Pico rock, the ocean and the sky. The waves breaking on the sandy beaches below provide the perfect soundtrack to a restful and rejuvenating stay. The breakfast was the best I’ve had anywhere in Brazil with a stunning array of foods all perfectly prepared.

I have never been treated so well in my life as at this guesthouse! They are incredible, they pay attention to every detail, they are helpful, in short, perfect service! A lesson in hospitality. The facilities are also incredible, the food is wonderful and the breakfast is a dream.

Best location on the island with a stunning view of the ocean and the Pico. Every breakfast, lunch or sunset drinks there are special. Rooms have the perfect view and the staff is extremely kind and accommodating. We loved our stay at Akana, the perfect place to stay to visit Noronha.
