We stayed here for one night as a stay-cation with the kids. Kids loved the pool, evening snacks/dinner, breakfast. Everyone was very nice and it was exactly as I expected. The quality of the food was as expected--nothing gourmet, but fed the kids without complaints! There were kids outside in the pool until late (pool closes at 10). Only an issue since we could hear them out of the window (the pool is indoor/outdoor). Not a huge disruption at all, just kids playing until 9:30-10ish.

If you want to stay in a 1980’s time capsule, this hotel is for you. Booked a week, and upon arrival we were greeted with a thick aired, musty, old cigarette scented room with old furniture, wallpaper, a timed heating lamp in a bathroom with no ventilation, and an AC that hardly worked. The ceiling in the bathroom was extremely low so anyone that was over 6ft tall would not be able to shower, and have trouble getting their head wet because the head was too low. We requested another room that smelled less like cigarettes but was still horribly musty and old. My throat hurt from breathing in the air. There was no way we were staying here. I had to request that we cancel our reservation and was thankful the very friendly and amazing gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating and honored our request.

We stayed here one night on our way home from a long trip. It was a very good stay with a nice clean room and the usual Drury kick back evening and breakfast were great. We ate dinner with the kick back and did not have to go out to a restaurant. The clerks were helpful and we had a nice secure place to park. It was a nice quiet evening and good rest. It is right on the Eastbound I 44 ramp, making it easy to get out of there in the morning. It is as a top hotel for a stay over.

Please don’t make the mistake I made and read the reviews before booking. Is the place a complete dump…no…but most of the reviews are accurate regarding cleanliness and upkeep of the property. My family and I were there for six nights and housekeeping never came the entire stay. The room we had (104) had a musty smell as soon as we walked in the room and it was like the room needed a dehumidifier because it always felt moist in the room. Chair in room was covered with animal hair and looked like animal badly chewed up legs to chair. Place needs pest control for ants, spiders and other insects as I always saw (no bedbugs to report). Side door to building would not open with key and we were told their system was not working properly. Also, pool is closed just like all the other reviews say. As far as staff they seemed friendly but not sure what they did because there were a ton of them there but never had our room cleaned. Breakfast was better than what most are reporting and never had an issue finding what we wanted to eat. I would rate this hotel equivalent to a Super 8, but definitely not to the standards of a Marriott Hotel.
