We immediately arranged fruit and low-sugar sour plum soup (specially noticed that our body is estimated to not like to drink too sweet)
In addition, I am especially grateful to the kind sister who moved the stool and cleaned for us and the concierge at the door to help with the luggage.

This place has a few things going for it. The rooms are pretty nice, practicality of a large bath/small pool in the room that takes a lifetime to fill notwithstanding. Pretty good view of the river The location suits those who like to be close to the action, but not right in the middle of it. If you want to see the town without being overwhelmed the moment you step out of your hotel, this place is ideal.And the staff is super friendly and helpful. It does suffer from the fact that some of the amenities seem to have been largely forgotten. Solid stay, but if you look closely, there may be a few rough edges.

As we explored the primitive landscape, close to Wen Chang Ge Primary school, we spotted a beautiful place and was inspired to build a hut, which will sit at the foot of Nan Hua Mountain, neighboring the tradition school Wen Chang Ge, which will shelter people from noise, tension and restlessness of city life, and which will bring to people inner peace. This will be a place to read, to meditate, and to look into our souls. As it echoes with the theme contained in a collection of essays by Shen Congwen, we name this place Xue Qing Ji (Collection of the Snowy and Sunny Days). With its cultural origin, Xue Qing Ji features tranquility and natural design, trying to offer what is best for humanity to prevail. It provides secluded rooms to read and contemplate, open spaces to talk, the best tea to sip, the most natural food to taste. On the same day, a housekeeper contacted us and told us how to get to the B&B from the high-speed rail station (taxi, maglev, shuttle bus). Only through the housekeeper did we find out that Didi taxis were not available in Fenghuang Ancient City. We chose the most convenient one, but when we got off the station, we found that there was no taxi service. It's easy to take a taxi. After communicating with the housekeeper, he called a taxi to pick us up at the high-speed rail station and sent us directly to the B&B. The receptionist was very warm and patient. He led us to the room and informed us of relevant matters. It was very considerate and most satisfying to me. Yes, the room was very quiet when I slept. I woke up naturally after not sleeping for a long time. The Chinese restaurant was very delicious. A very unforgettable trip to Phoenix

The hotel location is very good. Riverside but far from the noisy pub and bar in center of the town but can walk to central of loudness in 5-10min.
All staff here are so nice. They provide a pick up and drop off service. And very easy to contact with via wechat.
Rooms are new nice clean well decorated and can look over to see the river.
Several beakfast shops are close to hotel like 1-2min.

The room we booked was a twin room with river view and balcony. It is at Nanhua Gate and can be reached by taxi, which is very convenient. The B&B has an elevator, which is very convenient for picking up luggage. My parents were very happy to see the beautiful Fenghuang River view. The balcony is very spacious, with a hammock, coffee table and a chair. The scenery is very nice. The boss has a very nice family. My dad’s legs and feet are not very convenient, so the boss helped to carry it. They are very kind and enthusiastic people. The ancient city of Fenghuang is very beautiful. When I was a child, I was fascinated by the weather broadcast on Hunan TV. Especially the night view of Fenghuang is well-deserved. We walked around twice during the day and at night. Really nicely decorated hotel. Id say one of the best hotels in this region. Given only four stars as our room was quite strong with cigarette smell. We informed the staff about it and they said they would send someone to fix it. I think what they did was just opening the window which made it worse as the cigarette smell was stronger when we came back possibly because we were on the second floor and someone was smoking outside. We didnt bother to tell them again as it was late and we just wanted to sleep. There was also some sticky stain on the floor that we asked them to clean it but it was still there when we came back.
Staff very friendly. A tea set is also provided.

The hotel owner was very enthusiastic. Before setting off to the ancient town, he added v and guided us in detail on how to choose the travel route. It was already after 7pm when we arrived, and it was raining heavily, but two people from the store still came to pick us up. They also took the initiative to introduce the folk customs and geographical features of the ancient city along the way. Warmth and touching are the wonderful memories left to me by the store. impression. Hostel location on the map is wrong. The hostel is on the left side of Snow Bridge if you are facing Tuo Jiang River. Hostel location is not beside Feng Huang 1st Bridge.
When reach carpark, our car cannot enter due to carpark full. The owner came to the main road to help us carry our luggage to the hostel. Same thing when we go back time, the owner helps us to bring the language to the carpark. Free transport provided to and from high-speed rail station.
Our balcony is facing the Tuo Jiang River with a view of the ancient city and the scenery at night is very beautiful with the Snow Bridge fully light up. A good, beautiful view of the Snow Bridge and surrounding area.
We book Family Suite - 2-Room, River-View (Balcony), a clean and very spacious room and with a great view. The location is convenient, and the housekeeping is good.
There are many music bars below the hostel and along the river, but all music stops at 11 pm, is a good initiative.
Hostel location is near to popular attractions, such as Hongqiao, Tuo Jiang Rock Jumping, Travel Photography Shop just below the hostel.
I am fully satisfied with my stay in the hostel.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel. The Hotel's管家，莉莉，welcome us warmly when we reached the hotel. She helped us to book the hotel transfer from the train station before our arrival. She upgraded our room to a very beautiful one bedroom suite. The suite is well decorated, clean and comfortable with all modern amenities. The hotel even provide free transport to and from the ancient town scenic area. 莉莉 will help to co-ordinate for us. When we check out of the hotel, they even give us local snacks as gift. My husband and I really had a v good time staying at this hotel.

GGuest UserThis hotel in Fenghuang was excellent! We were both American tourists that speak minimal Mandarin, and the owners were very patient in communicating with us. The owners were overall extremely kind, and they even upgraded our room for free. They also even walked us to the bus station when we left. The room was very clean and it was a great deal at its price. It was a perfect stay, and I would recommend anyone to stay here as well.

AAlejandro Ch.This boutique hotel is run by really nice and helpful people. We arrived around 9:00pm to the high speed railway station and there were no taxis or Didi available. We took the direct bus from the station to Qifeng Square which was a 7min walk from Hongqiao bridge and they went to pick us up to Qifeng square to help with our luggage (by foot of course, it’s basically a pedestrian area) ☺️. They were also kind enough to drop us off again to Qifeng square and helped with the bus tickets. Awesome customer service.
The location of the hotel was in the middle of everything, the balcony was a highlight. Maybe cleanliness could be improved, and some things like the bathroom carpet should be replaced. But that’s it.
Oh, there’s also this thing: while Fenghuang town is beautiful at night, it’s basically a party town when the sun sets. There’s a bar opposite to the hotel as other comments point out, but that’s not the only bar in the area. Wherever you walk along the river you will find a bar blasting music. Such a beautiful town ruined at night by bad local government regulations. If you like to sleep before 11:30pm (when music stops), maybe stay somewhere far away from the river. If sleeping late is okay for you, then this hotel works perfectly for the night.

CchunzyThe view from the room was amazing. We absolutely loved the balcony. It was our favourite hang out place during our 2 nights stay.
The room was very spacious for 3 people.
The bed was comfortable.
They have proper amenities available.
The toilet was very big.
The location of the hotel was very convenient and it is walking distance to all the main attractions. It was a plus point as we were travelling with elderly people.
The hotel staffs were very helpful and approachable, they provided us the digital map and gave us guidance on how to walk around the ancient town. They also offered better ticket pricings for the different attractions that was available.
They came to fetch us when we arrived at the Nan Hua Men. They also arranged transport for us to the railway station as we were a group of 6.
Only downside was the noise from the vehicles in the eating street in front of the hotel, and some tour groups start their tour as early as 7am in the morning, as they walk by along the TuoJiang river. However, that was not an issue for us. We woke up early to sit at the balcony and have our morning coffee while watching people passing by.

CcooltravellerThe hotel is located at the bank of Tuo Jiang river, about 100 m from Hongqiao bridge. In the case confusing about the direction, just call the hotel after alight from the car/taxi on the Hongqiao bridge and they would be happily to pick you up. We didn't have any problem to find the hotel ourselves since we are quite familiar using Baidu Map and the hotel location quite precise on Baidu Map.
Just like any other hotels with Diaojiaolou (Hanging Building) style in Fenghuang Ancient City, the hotel lobby is very small since the use of space is very important for them. However, the room that we stayed was quite spacious and clean with the balcony facing Tuo Jiang river. The owner was very generous to upgrade our room to Double King Bed (2 beds of size 180x200cm. The beds are comfy. The room comes with Chinese Style Tea Making Set on the balcony so we can relax enjoying the view of the river while sipping cups of tea. The waterflow at the shower was strong and the hot water worked well.
The owner was very friendly and attentive. She gave us the late checkout since our train leaving Fenghuang was late in the afternoon. Very recommended to stay here.

XXiaoyuchuipaopaoღ ღ ღLocation: Very good. It's right next to the parking lot. It's very convenient to drive there. The room is very big when you open the door. The rooms are all facing the river. There is a small balcony with a view of the river. It's very cozy and comfortable.
Sanitary conditions: Very good. I was worried about mosquitoes and moisture when I brought my children out. The room turned out to be surprisingly good, very clean and comfortable. I thought it was fine to just listen to the rain in the room without going out.
Environment: You can see an acacia tree opposite the window, you can also see bridges, windmills... everything is very good. Sometimes the scenery is not to be found in the ancient city. It is not about having to take photos in Miao clothes, but about a state of mind.
Service: The boss lady is very enthusiastic and the service is very good. She tries her best to help us. The boss's daughter is also very cute.
All in all, it’s a B&B that you can enjoy with your eyes closed.

GGuest UserThe hotel has very convenient transportation. You can take the shuttle bus from the Maglev Station to the hotel entrance. The hotel is located next to Fenghuang Ancient City. The room is not big and the bathroom is very clean, but the facilities are a bit old. The front desk clerk was very enthusiastic, upgraded the room for free, and gave us ginger candies before leaving, which was very heartwarming.
Breakfast is relatively simple, but filling.

It is located at the end river section, so you can still see the lighting up at night but not as much as the middle section.
The room was clean but the cushions on the chairs (balcony) were stained. Would suggest to not put cushions and just have Rattan chairs.
The room is located at the fourth floor so we had to carry our suitcases up. We read the reviews prior booking so we kind of expected it too and didn't come as a shock.
The staffs were very kind and help us to carry the suitcases together.
We had an early day next day and the kitchen staffs served us our breakfast prior to the official breakfast start time.
