Very good Homestay it’s small hotel but good location that near main square, hotel service very good like 5 stars hotel the lady who is everything as reception, cleaner and maybe manger help me a lot before I go there she guided me how go to home stay that very good and clear also when I arrived she guided me how walk around town and river, where is shortcut go there and where can I find stall or restaurant. Also once I need her help to find supermarket she responded immediately and clear. Recommend everyone who finding accommodation in Fenghuang

However, the room's cleanliness could be enhanced. We found the toilet cluttered with leftover lotion bottles. Great n friendly hosts; tried their best to provide fantastic service. Nice deck on d rooftop to chill during evenings but deck needs to be kept clean as maybe the housekeeping wasn't well informed. Very good location, great service, rooms are ok (size, commodities) However, cleaning is not very satisfying: dirty sheets in public areas for example. The hotel is also very noisy : located in a busy street and hotel employees quite noisy early morning.

There is a bar street opposite, which can be very loud at night, but at 11 o'clock, it will be very quiet. If you like to go to bed early, you may be more cautious. I personally go to bed late and don't think it affects me. Yes, you can see the performance at night, but not from the front. But if you go downstairs to have a look, it's very close (the platform with pink flowers in Figure 4 is where the performance is). For those who drive by themselves, the boss will recommend a parking lot, which costs 40 yuan for 24 hours. Fenghuang on a Saturday is so incredibly crowded and touristy. The rooms here had very poor sound insulation so beware if you’re a light sleeper or request a room on the interior (with less light). The squat toilets were difficult for my older relatives to manage and the bathrooms didn’t smell great. But it’s an ancient town, so what do you expect. The staff were friendly and helped us with our bags to the road. It was great to be able to converse with them through WeChat as no one spoke any English.
