Fenghuang Hotels with Airport pickup service

A very beautiful hotel with lovely styled rooms and very helpful staff. Manager Wang's service was excellent. We had a language barrier but they still managed to arrange a pick-up and drop off to the high speed railway. The hotel is in a great location with a view of Fenghuang bridge from the room balcony. Unfortunately it is true what other reviewers say about the bathroom being poorly designed. Rather than a shower, it is a bath tub with a retractable shower head and water gets everywhere if you try to use it as a standing shower. It is also true that the noise from the streets, particularly the music from the bar next door, is very loud at night, but it stops at 23:30. However, we found these to be minor inconveniences in our stay, which was overall very romantic and hugely positive. We'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel is close to the Fog bridge in the Fenghuang ancient city. My room has the river view and two balconies, which is excellent for night view of the city. The room is spacious enough for four adults, but needs to share for one bathroom. The breakfast buffet only offered a simple Chinese breakfast with limited varieties. The hotel room was quiet at night time. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time. The restaurant was excellent and offered authentic Hunan style food. Overall, this hotel experience was excellent.

The inn is downstream, so you don't need to walk far, and it's not noisy at night. I think the view in the room is YYDS, peaceful and beautiful. The room includes a maglev sightseeing train ride, which is a great experience. You can get off the high-speed train and go to the maglev train guide board, and report your cell phone number to the information desk. There is no need to pay extra. The innkeeper will contact you in advance to make arrangements. After getting off the maglev, there is also a pick-up driver at the hotel. It's a pity that I underestimated how difficult it would be to get a taxi when leaving Fenghuang Ancient City. Didi can't get a taxi here. They have a local taxi app. You can ask the innkeeper. I heard the online taxi driver say it and didn't remember it. live. If you want to go to the high-speed rail station or the maglev train station here, the driver will ask for the price. If you want to go back to the maglev, you have to go early, or you can take a taxi directly back to the high-speed rail station. We paid 35. The facilities in the room are quite satisfactory. I would like to complain about the hair dryer and the shower room. The hair dryer was still mounted on the wall in the past and its power is worrisome. The shower room is not ventilated. If it is not turned on, there will be a strong musty smell when it is turned on again. Overall, the inn is worth staying in, and it’s worth it for the scenery. Other transportation or facility issues are trivial on the basis of one trip.

Pros- Great location by the river, beautiful and close walking distance to the food shops, famous bridges and the red lady singing on the boat (5-10mins). Clean warm room. Bit of scuff marks and stuff on the walls and wooden furnitures but overall charming, nice and modern and no like stinky smells from the river/mosquitoes/cigarettes etc. Warm showers and has all the standard amenities (hairdryer, soap shampoo, shaver etc). The manager is super friendly and hospitable even though she doesn’t speak English she really tries her best to help. Cons- noisy bars and karaoke until 11pm, tour groups in the morning start like at 7am below the balcony (maybe one or two when I was there 2 days) and 9am construction work starts. The free tour is sadly in Chinese only, and the free outfit doesn’t include photos or makeup, it is about 199 yuan for that but if you don’t want photos or makeup it’s free. Don’t think they wash the outfits super often either. Laundry is apparently not a proper one and you have to hand wash. No lifts if you have a lot of luggage.

Overall it was a good stay. It is located at the end river section, so you can still see the lighting up at night but not as much as the middle section. The room was clean but the cushions on the chairs (balcony) were stained. Would suggest to not put cushions and just have Rattan chairs. The room is located at the fourth floor so we had to carry our suitcases up. We read the reviews prior booking so we kind of expected it too and didn't come as a shock. The staffs were very kind and help us to carry the suitcases together. We had an early day next day and the kitchen staffs served us our breakfast prior to the official breakfast start time.

We contacted the hotel a few weeks prior to arrange for a pick up at the fenghuanggucheng train station. They picked us up from the train station for free. As soon as we arrive, the boss greeted us and the staff helped bring our luggage to our room. We were also shown different rooms when we arrived, and they upgraded us to their suite room free of charge. The staff are always nice , smiling and helpful. Great location, hotel located away from the major noise but right in the action. We have been travelling around the Philippines, South Korea and China and decided to stay in Fenghuang old town for two nights, and we are grateful that we got some much needed rest. There's a few cheap breakfast options around the hotel. Highly recommended hotel, we would stay here again the next time we come back to Fenghuang old town!

The room perfectly blends the charm of the ancient city with modern comfort. The wooden furniture exudes a warm luster, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and the cornices of the ancient city outside the window complement the scenery of the Tuojiang River, just like a smart ink painting. 💁 Attentive service: From the warm check-in at the front desk to helping plan travel routes, the staff are always enthusiastic. One day I accidentally got my clothes wet, and the front desk quickly brought a hair dryer and thoughtfully prepared ginger tea, which was so warm. 🍱Exquisite meals: The breakfast is rich and varied, and the Xiangxi specialty rice noodles are delicious and delicious, making you an energetic start to the day. The blood cake duck and pickled fish for dinner were also amazing. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was authentic. Clean, sanitary, the location of the B&B is very good, right in the scenic area. You don't need to buy tickets to enter the ancient town directly. When you arrive at the Liwan parking lot, just call the owner and he will pick you up. It's very convenient. The night view of the ancient town is beautiful. I took a lot of travel photos. I booked a room for my parents and they are very satisfied

We had the best service of our trip at this hotel- they truly go beyond and above. It was only a 15min Didi from the train station, also the bus shuttle from HSR to the city is right in front of the hotel. The location is perfectly situated at one side of the main bridge, but a nice 5min stroll away such that you are away from the noise on the main strip (in front of the river). Also, no mosquitoes. We initially booked a riverfront hotel but I am SO glad that we changed to this hotel after actually walking the whole tourist strip on foot. Legit the cobblestones near the river are terrible, and cars can’t get in so it’d have been a nightmare. Next, Xiao Dai （小代） who helped us and the manager were all so sweet. 小代answered all our WeChat questions extremely promptly (literally 1-2mins), and when we asked about the free laundry self use machine onsite, she offered to have us leave it in our room and do it for us so we could go out and explore. I thought this was truly above and beyond- she picked the clothes up from our room, washed them (separately as well for colours and whites), hung them and sent us a photo, dried them and returned them to us folded and freshly laundered. We were simply floored by this level of service. They are so so so kind and I can’t recommend this hotel enough for their kindness and eagerness to ensure your comfort during your stay. We stayed on the 7th floor in a suite and it was very comfortable- the bed itself and pillows were just right. Sheets felt high quality, pillows not too stiff and high, duvet was fluffy and nice. I liked that the toilet is separated from the shower and vanity- the soft but bright filtered lighting for the bathroom vanity was amazing for getting ready (for the girls who are sick of hotels with dark lighting and can’t do their make up). The room was spacious and although some aspects were a bit outdated, it was clean large and comfortable - we were so happy with our room. They also gave our group of 3 girls 4 room cards which allows for each card to breakfast. The breakfast ayis were so nice and made eggs freshly your way when asked. The cucumber and radish pickles were yummy and we really liked the corn soup and congee as well as all the vegetable dishes. The selection was good for us, as we like clean and simple, easy to digest and nutritious foods in the morning. Oh yeah they also sent us to the HSR on check out without charge, in the hotel’s car. They were so prompt in getting us to the HSR and the driver was really considerate, safe and careful. Literally the most calm drive we’ve experienced in China. Side note- the gym is massive and looks largely unused but the equipment is good, there are weights and cables and everything. There’s also a pool table and table tennis. A yoga room complete with a good amount of gear and mats.

The owner upgraded us to a king-size bed room for free, hehe. When we arrived at Fenghuang Ancient Town, an employee took the initiative to pick us up and help us with our luggage, which was great. If we were to find it by ourselves, we might get dizzy looking at the navigation, as there are too many alleys in the ancient town, winding and winding, so this is much more convenient. It was very clean, and the bed sheets and quilt covers were newly changed, with creases. The room was relatively clean and had no odor. I thought there would be bugs because the south is more humid, but there were none~ Hehe, it was great. There is also a small courtyard on the second floor, which is very beautiful, and you can go there to take pictures.
