When we arrived they showed us our room and offered an upgrade to a bigger room. But as we were happy with the original room we just stayed with that option regardless of there being no view from the window. But what we didn’t know was the view we had led directly into another building and every sound from the neigbourbuilding could be heard. It seems like they have children and it was super noisy in the mornings and evenings. We wished we upgraded in the beginning but after we found out we had already unpacked and didn’t want to pack and unpack again. The room itself was just okay. Close to a very pretty bridge but as it is located at the end of the scenic area going to the other side is kind of far. The stay was still pleasant and they lent us an umbrella.

This B&B is in a great location, right outside the Tuojiang River. We paid extra to upgrade to a river view room, which has a good view. It's rare to have an elevator. The room is clean and hygienic, with an air conditioner, very warm. The front desk guy is very warm and came out to pick us up and sent us the detailed address…

During the time in Fenghuang Ancient Town, the river view homestay I stayed in was simply amazing! You can see the Tuojiang River from the window, and the lights are bright at night.
