Filthy hotel, our room had not been cleaned in ages and wasn’t at all similar to what we had booked. Receptionist was rude, apparently he leaves in the reception area which was also filthy with uncleaned dishes and cutlery everywhere. He was asleep in a bench at the reception when we got there and woke him up, which we obviously did not like and was extremely rude during the check in. “Passports” is the only word we got from him. Being 4 of us we requested more than just one key but he said “not possible because his friends had taken them” 🤔
At some point many guys joined him in reception and had some sort of party.
Awful experience, we in fact left a day earlier and could not get the refund of the second night.

Main drawback is that taxis cannot get within several blocks, with stone walkways and several stairs (one steep and long) along the access route, along with crossing a long bridge. Very very difficult to carry one’s own luggage in that situation. More serious is that the CTrip info and description paragraph for this hotel does not inform the reader of this physical challenge!
