The location is great. Although it's on the lower reaches of the Tuojiang River, it's very convenient to get around. Most people stay in the lower reaches because the middle reaches are too noisy. The B&B offers on-demand pick-up and drop-off service, which is very convenient. The ancient town itself is quite small. The rooms are clean and hygienic. The hostess and the housekeeper were very friendly and welcoming, and I felt the warmth of the B&B. The hostess even lent me her miniature donkey so I could buy some fridge magnets. I hadn't ridden one in five years, and it instantly made me feel five years younger. I highly recommend this to everyone. If you visit Fenghuang Ancient Town, be sure to visit Sister Ling.

We stayed here for a two-day, one-night family trip. Located downstream along the river, it's close to the fireworks and show venues, and you can see them from the rooftop balcony. Of course, we walked to the show venues.
The accommodations offer all the amenities you'd expect in a private lodging, and it was clean. Due to the season, the balcony was covered in plastic, so it looked a little different from the promotional photos.
The staff (the owner's daughter) were friendly and explained the sightseeing route thoroughly. After purchasing tickets, they picked us up from the show venue at the main tourist spot upstream and delivered us back to the hotel, which was very convenient.
The breakfast wasn't particularly extensive, but the local breakfast offered at a private lodging was more than enough for me.
Finally, the hotel car took us to the high-speed rail station, bringing our Fenghuang Ancient Town trip to a pleasant end.
