Phoenix Story Boutique Resort Hotel

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Service went far beyond expectations. Staff were extremely attentive and kind. Made sure our every need was met and hotel provided many extra services completely free of costs. Facilities were well kept, interior of the hotel was beautiful. Rooms are modern and spacious. They even had charging cords for both iPhone and USB C prepared in rooms. We were offered complimentary supper upon our arrival. Following days of travelling, our group of 6 had quite a bit of laundry to do. We were delighted to find the hotel also offers complimentary laundry service. The aunty very kindly took our baskets of laundry, listed every piece in her laundry checklist before having each room’s laundry washed, dried and FOLDED! She took care of the entire process and returned the baskets of clean clothes with a checklist of each item washed. Our friends were equally impressed and thankful. On top of that, our rooms were all fitted with a drier cabinet. I’m assuming it’s for any delicates or materials not suitable for the tumble drier. Location of the hotel was also brilliant, on the outskirts of the ancient town. Close enough to reach everything on foot but also have access to the road for cab or Didi access so you don’t need to drag any luggage around on foot. Would stay here again in a heart beat. Highly highly recommended.

Clean! Friendly crew and exceptional location, walkable to Hong bridge!

Hotel provides free meals before 12 pm, and for simple dinner in porridge from 8 to 10 pm. Easy access for cars to get to hotel and short walking distance to main entrance to bridge/ nanhua mountain. Reception able to assist to book tickets. Only drawback is the slight noisy main street, which in ancient town is kind of expected.

Amazing stay at the Phoenix Story Boutique Hotel. Only a short walk to the scenic area and quite convenient to get to from the high speed rail station.

Wonderful Hotel with Excellent Service We had a great stay at this lovely hotel. The service was outstanding — Mr. Wang helped us with everything we needed, from buying train tickets to giving helpful recommendations and information. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect — within walking distance of major attractions. They even did our laundry for us free of charge, which was a nice surprise! The only downside for us was the lack of Western food options, but there’s a supermarket nearby where we stocked up on fresh fruits and vegetables, so it wasn’t a big issue. Highly recommended!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. Everything was as expected, and I would gladly stay here again.
