I came here once before, just before graduating from high school. Back then, taxis were difficult to get in Fenghuang, but now the hotel offers a pick-up service. We were met by a pick-up person right after getting off the high-speed train. The location is perfect, just an 8-10 minute walk from the heart of the ancient city, allowing us to escape the hustle and bustle of the main street while still immersing ourselves in the vibrant life along the Tuojiang River. The room was clean, tidy, and well-insulated. I can't praise enough the hospitality of the owner and his family. They patiently answered all my questions from the moment I booked, helped with our luggage upon arrival, and offered helpful recommendations for less crowded itineraries and local restaurants. The value for money was exceptional. They even hailed a taxi for us upon departure. If I were to return to Fenghuang, I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience the slower pace of life in the ancient city!

This is the cleanest B&B I've been to recently. Parking is convenient and the little brother in the store helps with luggage. The lady boss is very nice and introduces delicious food and takes photos of Miao costumes. The service is excellent.

The host was incredibly thoughtful, sending a detailed check-in guide in advance and recommending nearby hidden gems and restaurants, saving me the trouble of planning. The responses were incredibly prompt, and any questions were promptly addressed. Their service was top-notch! This is an excellent value, much more comfortable than a hotel. The hostess held an umbrella for me and took my luggage in my hand, just like going home. The housekeeper brother was super considerate. Not only did he help us upgrade the room type with a viewing terrace, but he also hand-painted a map of the secrets of the ancient city to avoid the crowds. The room is a healing log style, the bedding is so soft that it feels like sleeping in the clouds, and the Chinese herbal bath bag in the bathroom is a fairy experience! The most unforgettable thing is drinking morning tea in the courtyard in the morning, watching the sun slowly climb up the ancient city wall, and then I understand the true meaning of the word "Spring Dawn" - it has both the vigor of spring and the tranquility of dawn.
