Yunxi Boutique Hotel (Phoenix Ancient City Nanhua Branch)

I recently stayed at a hotel near the ancient town of Fenghuang, and it was the perfect base for exploring this beautiful, historic area. The location was excellent—just a short walk from the riverside and the heart of the old town, where all the vibrant shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions are located. Despite being so close to the action, the hotel was tucked away enough to offer a peaceful and quiet stay. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I especially enjoyed the comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and the rainfall shower in the bathroom. There was also a cozy seating area and a private balcony, offering lovely views of the town and the surrounding river. Little touches like complimentary tea and snacks made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for its prime location and excellent room amenities, offering both convenience and comfort for anyone visiting Fenghuang.

It is good location if wish to stay slightly away from the crowded and noisy center. Important note that there is no lift available but it is still a decent stay at affordable price.

First off nobody knew exactly where this place is...not even the noodle shop right next door. I will post a picture of the noodle place and the Hotel.LOL Unfortunately the one bad review I saw was correct. It does not really feel like entering a professionally run Hotel as nobody pays attention to you and people are just hanging out casually in the lobby area. Although the rooms are matching the photos, it does not have a nice feel to it since there are many odd construction errors. In the evening the noise from the street is extreme. It was as noisy as being in the middle of New Delhi India! The bedding was clean and the bed comfortable but I would not chose this Hotel again.

Great location. We took a taxi from high speed train station, it cost only 22.5 CNY, taxi stopped in front of the hotel. Further more, the hotel located near the river and main attractions within few minutes walk and far enough from noise.The hotel room was very clean with comfy bed. The owner was very nice and helpful ,she tried to help us to buy train tickets which we could not buy online. Thanks.
