Although the mattress was not to my liking the room was of a great standard, the location of the Premier Inn was good with good car parking. The breakfast was a bit hit and miss, but ok when you consider the amount of guests to be catered for at various times for eating. The evening meal we had was of a pretty good standard and the service exceptional especially by our host Bob who could not do enough for us.

We stayed at this hotel from 27th Feb to 1st March 2025. It was our first visit to Felixtowe to meet up with friends. Location is perfect as it provides access within minutes to local shops, supermarket, cafes, restaurants and beach front. Parking at £3 per 24 hours is very reasonable on the large car park to the rear of the hotel with generously wide spaces. The staff were pleasant and professional providing excellent service and advise, in particular a young lady named Megan helped me with some non hotel related advice. We had breakfast one morning at the hotel, service was efficient, food was plentiful and tasty. All in all this hotel exceeded our expectations.

The room was very hot, with the aircon not having much effect, and this is in a winter month. The noise from the aircon unit was too loud and i had little sleep which left me tired the next day, and not a good advert for premier inn hotels. On the plus side the staff on reception although late (22:30 PM) was very welcoming and should be rewarded, as she dealt with booking in seamlessly exactly what is needed after a busy day and travel

Staff were great, friendly check in and room clean. Rooms could do with a refresh, looking a bit tired and old now. Stayed multiple times at this location and good access to seafront and the theatre. Breakfast in the morning was good quality and value for money.

Perfect hotel. Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff. Super comfy bed. Location ideal for exploring Felixstowe. Parking convenient and reasonably priced. A very relaxed environment. Really enjoyed my stay there and will definitely go back. I highly recommend it.

A bit of a fiasco. The disabled parking is AWAY from the entrance, with a tiny, narrow footpath behind the cars - barely wide enough for a mobility scooter. Not an issue until cars park in the bays that join this footpath, then they on-demand the footpath and it is useless. If you do go there, think long and hard about the meal deal before you prepay for it. On three nights there was a restricted menu , pizza or curry. With my wife's dietary requirements we couldn't eat there on these nights. So we paid but got no food there. We nearly missed breakfast on the first morning. There was a card in the room extolling the breakfast and it said it was served until 10.30am. So after a lay in and a leisurely shower we went down at 9.45 for breakfast to be told that we'd nearly missed it as they only serve it till 10am. The room was shabby, everything a little 'tired' - curtains of the runners, one lamp had no bulb in it and another had a nonworking bulb in it. The laminate floor creaks like an old sailing ship when you move on it, and the bathroom door squeals like you've thrown in a cat whilst wearing your hobnail boots - no creeping around at night for a pee. Service is very hit and miss. Not the staff's fault - one evening when we actually got food the girl was serving, booking people in and stocktaking at the same time. We waited fifteen minutes to order out dessert then gave up. Standards seen to be doing at Premier Inn. To summarise - you're better off not taking it the meal deal. There lots of choice of takeaways and restaurants, even out of season. We're still waiting out refund for an evening meal that was promised to us because they couldn't provide what they had sold us.

We have stayed here many times and it has always been fantastic. Sadly this time not so much. The room was super cold (and smelt musty) on arrival. The heating didn't appear to work as we put it right up but the room was cold all night. The USB charger didn't work either which was a big pain as I needed it for navigation the next morning.
