After being double booked at the nearby IBIS we arrived at midnight to the Bauer Hotel to be met by the wonderful Kris who arranged a room for us and ensured that the morning reception staff would try to find us a room for second night. We were attending Adele concert so most hotels around were booked. Special shout to Kris, Julia and Stelian form the giving is best guest experience and for allowing us to stay at really reasonable rates when they could have charged more. The hotel ran a free shuttle bus to the concert and the hotel owner was using her own car to transport guests to the concert also. Breakfast, which was included was delicious. It is rare to find a hotel like this one where the guest experience and customer care is second to none. We had a wonderful time. Don’t stay anywhere else 🥰

This is a review of the restaurant, although have to say, the hotel looked decent A typical Bavarian set up, with a welcoming decor - especially with the Christmas decorations and open fire place Service was a tad slow this evening, but overall was OK Beer was decent Food menu could’ve had more vegetarian options and I was disappointed they didn’t have schweinhaxe - but nonetheless, the food overall went down well My only gripe was that the wild boar was a little over cooked, thus making it essential to have sufficient gravy and sauerkraut to lubricate the dryness of the meat Would I return? Yeah…due to the proximity to where we were staying if we didn’t fancy heading into the city

We went to the Brydone Hotel Restaurant in Oamaru as my husband stays there for work at times . We ordered a roast lamb dish which was very tasty. It had at least different vegetables as well as the lamb and white sauce. The only thing I could hink of was that maybe too much gravy all over when most people like it on he meat only.. We would use it again though

The Restaurant was really very good, food is great, the wine menu also. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. One friendly suggestion, all rooms should have air condition and mini bar or freezer.

There is very little to fault with this hotel,hence the rating. The location for visiting central Munich is excellent and offers a much more attractive room rate than the inner City. There is ample free parking on site. The reception staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are a good size with all mod cons, comfortable and with good Wi-Fi. The pool and sauna area is a very pleasant place to unwind after a long journey. The inclusive breakfast buffet was very good with a generous selection. Great value and an enjoyable stay

We stayed here for one night while travelling. It's comfortable and serves good food. Breakfast also good. Booked this hotel a few hours before arriving by phone, which wasn't a problem. Staff very friendly and helpful. Mattress was memory foam which was too soft for me, but this is personal. All in all, we would book this again.

You shouldn't want to stay overnight or sleep at the Hotel Bauer on weekends. Loud music from revelers is not prevented until well after midnight. The guest who is not celebrating has no choice anyway and can suffer in peace.

Unfortunately, reviews and photos raise expectations, which were not met. Average but nothing d+, it certainly stands out in the surrounding desolation. Good for business stops. Excellent cleanliness, while almost everything else needs improvement from the welcome to the breakfast. All extras are paid, covered parking, slippers and even the adapter for German sockets. Expensive restaurant 2 people for dinner 80 euros... 4 stars is not worth it.
