Super 8 by Wyndham Oelwein

I was told I had to check out early so they could renovate my room. Wasn’t happy about that. They should have told me this at the time I made the reservation

Average, nothing stood out as spectacular or disappointing. Out of the 3 Super 8 stays in the pastmonth, it was by far better than the ones in Burlington Iowa and altoona pa.

Would not recommend this place. Bed was comfortable.Property was dirty/run down. Overpowered air freshener in room. Missing ceiling tiles, broke tiles in hall. Bugs on bathroom floor. Front desk staff annoyed we rang bell for service then we waited 10 minutes for help. Offered discount due to not getting room reserved, no discounts given. Overall very poor unsanitary conditions.

Nice place to stay Nice clean room with excellent service. Wish the breakfast would have had some protein choices instead of just carbs. Better for health.

It was suppose to be smoke free. Our room positively stunk. We had a king bed that did not have even standard pillows. They were more like 4 throw pillows. Very uncomfortable. Everything in the room was unplugged so no refrigerator as it took forever to cool down. Price was okay but not impressed

Clean and comfortable This is a good basic hotel that is clean and the service is good. We have stayed here before as it is one of the only hotels in the area. We mostly saw one person working and she was friendly and would check if we needed anything. The only bad thing was last year they had a good Continental breakfast and although on their website it says something about a breakfast snack? It was only coffee, oatmeal creamer pies, honey buns, and a large container of juice in the fridge. That is definitely not a “breakfast” at all and they ran out of creamer. But we will definitely stay here again if we come to this area.
