Oh My God, if you like the very best then this is the place to stay! Each of the 5 only (Yes only 5) bedrooms is air conditioned ( and it works properly) and individually designed to The Lady of the house’s own instructions. The owners’ only wish is that you have a superlative time… and if you stay here… You Will!!

We booked La Galante as a last minute decision to take a trip to the South of France and how pleased we were with our choice. Michel and Catherine were wonderful hosts and immediately made us feel at home. The hotel itself is beautiful. Michel and Catherine have renovated it to the most beautiful standard mixing the fabulous old features with modern and quirky decoration. The bedrooms are exquisite with a very comfy bed and home from home facilities. The large and crystal clean pool is a fabulous plus to this property with comfortable beds and massive parasols. We ate dinner in twice and Michel made us a fabulous meal accompanied with fine wines from his cellar. Michel and Catherine are trying hard to learn English but we all managed between us with our school boy French and the help of google translate. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want a bit of luxury in a fabulous location and a real feel of true France. 🇫🇷

What a gem in the village of Faugeres. From the moment we arrived to our departure we were treated with exceptional hospitality and friendship by our host Michel. Everything just works from the beautifully decorated rooms, dining experience and the relaxing garden and pool. Michel makes you feel at home, and as a result we had an amazing relaxing stay. We can only say it is a gem and highly recommended

Wunderbares Maison d’Hôtes! Sympathisches Gastgeberpaar. Man wird umsorgt und verwöhnt, fühlt sich fast wie bei alten Freunden und doch als Feriengast. Herrlich ruhig und gut gelegen für diverse Aktivitäten. Wir freuen uns auf ein anderes Mal.

Nous venons de passer 2 nuits à La Galante. Un superbe endroit et des hôtes charmants pour un séjour très agréable à la Galante. Catherine et Michel seront aux petits soins pour vous. Petit déjeuner super et piscine très appréciable. Nous recommandons si vous passez dans le coin.

Cette chambre d'hôte est véritablement un joyau brut, rayonnant dans toute sa splendeur ! L'endroit offre une beauté exceptionnelle, parfait pour se ressourcer et laisser derrière soi les soucis quotidiens. Une parenthèse inattendue dans le temps se crée naturellement. Cette harmonie découle probablement de la parfaite alchimie entre le lieu et notre hôte. Et quel hôte ! Michel est exceptionnel, dévoué à son rôle et doté d'une ouverture d'esprit remarquable. Il est à l'écoute, attentionné, bienveillant, d'une intelligence extrême, et il nous a enchantés avec de nombreuses histoires qui jalonnent sa vie, parsemées ici et là dans toute la maison. Pour les amoureux de la vie et des belles rencontres, n'hésitez pas. Ces instants de bonheur et de partage sont rares ! À très bientôt, car c'est une certitude, nous reviendrons...

Que dire ? À part que mon amie et moi avons passé 4 jours incroyables ! La maison La Galante est un petit bijou entièrement repensé par Cathy et Michel, leurs nouveaux propriétaires. Au coeur du charmant village de Faugères, un havre de paix.. ces pierres, ces couleurs, le jardin .. je reviendrai pour profiter de la piscine c'est certain ! Notre chambre, la Jungle, était un véritable cocon, mention spéciale pour cette douche en hauteur ! Une literie au top, et des prestations dignent d'un cinq étoiles ! Mention spéciale également pour les dégustations de vins au pied de la gigantesque cheminée.. Merci à Cathy et Michel pour avoir fait de ce séjour une véritable parenthèse enchantée ! Nous reviendrons !!
