We spent 5 days in faro, we stayed at Sao Filipe guest house, it was very clean, the staff were extremely friendly, telling us about the best places to visit, the receptionist even gave us a local glass of port on our arrival!

We stayed here just one night. Considering the cost we were more than satisfied. The property is a few minutes walk from the center. The room, although small, was equipped with all comforts and the staff was very kind. We requested a kettle and the lady at reception was very kind. I recommend this place but not more than 1/2 nights

De ligging van het hotel is uitstekend als je het leuke centrum van Faro wilt gaan bezoeken. De voorzijde van het kleine hotel zie je snel over het hoofd . Winkels gezellige eet gelegenheden en historische gebouwen zoals de kerk met de schedels “Capela dos Ossos” op loopafstand. De ontvangst is allerhartelijkst en we mochten de koffers alvast enkele uren voor de check in tijd van 15.00 uur hier stallen. Via een smalle gang met enkele trappen kom je uiteindelijk via een elektrische bewaakte deur terecht bij de 24 uurs receptie. Onze kamer direct naast de receptie was voorzien van een goede airco en werkende Wifi. Het is een schone kamer waar 2 enkele bedden met handige stopcontacten direct naast het bed zitten. Verder staat er een kast waar je wat kleding in kwijt kunt. De schone kleine badkamer is voorzien van een fijne warme douche met vaste wanden ,shampoo dispenser en heerlijk schone badlakens. Verder bevind zich in de kleine badkamer een wastafel met spiegel 1 toilet als ook een föhn. Het hotel heeft airport service en voor €18,- werden wij stipt volgens afspraak om 4.00 uur in de morgen door een kennis van de hotelier naar het nabijgelegen vliegveld gebracht. Uber taxi’s zijn vaak wel goedkoper maar vooraf wat meer zekerheid is wel prettig.

Lo único bueno, las chicas de recepción que fueron muy amables. Habitación pequeñísima, sábanas, amarillentas y desgastadas, ducha no sucia pero vieja y asquerosa, toallas viejas que olian a humedad, en general todo el aseo para restaurar. Todo muy antiguo y muy caro, con la mitad del precio habría valido.

Super fijn verblijf, het was er erg schoon, Werd elke dag schoongemaakt en nieuwe handdoeken. De kamer is klein, dat wisten wij Vantevoren dit was echter geen probleem. Het personeel spreekt goed Engels en is behulpzaam. De ligging Is ideaal dichtbij het Centrum Bushalte in de straat die naar het Vliegveld gaat. Wanneer je naar buitenloopt meteen links kun je prima ontbijten. Kamers zijn wel erg gehorig.
