Lovely hotel, we stayed for the Farnborough exhibition. Not the hotels fault but we booked an airport view room, but by the time we got there it was dark and in the morning it was thick fog, so couldn’t see anything! It was still a lovely room. Great shower, nice toiletries, all the rooms amenities you could want. We had a problem with the tv as it was very slow and then would keep going off. We reported it to reception and I got an email after I had left apologising which was nice. Didn’t use any of the bars or restaurants unfortunately but the sky bar looked very nice as we walked past. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

At the edge of Farnborough airfield you can find an architectural gem of a hotel, the Aviator. This is our 2nd time of visiting as it is a perfect launchpad for getting to royal Ascot. The Aviator is a subtle yet gorgeous peice of architecture. The facade of sweeping curved aluminium and smoked glass is without signage and without fuss. The entrance is consealed without shouty signage and will only appear when you approach the centre of the sweeping structure. From the central hub, the building extends its opposing wings of multiple floors of rooms, bars, restaurants and amenities, whilst the central atrium opens up to reveal the entirety of all floors from ground to sky level. The central hub is luxurious, but not overly done so, it’s cool, clean, elegant and chic. Think industrial elegance combined with 50s style noir chic means that everything is dimmed, relaxed, polished and naturally draws you in.

Beautiful chairs with fabulous cushions just sit back and relax we all loved the setting. Wonderful waiter very attentive explained everything and showed us all the tea experience we could have. Food absolutely fantastic we all loved it far too much so boxes to take home, finished off with fabulous champagne fully recommend to anyone reasonably priced

Highly recommend. This was my second visit for afternoon tea, it was not disappointing. The tea itself it excellent value with a great variety of sweet and savoury, it is also deceptively filling, consistent and extremely tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and the facilities spotless. Staff are well presented, friendly, personable and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was delivered by our server Adel who took the time to explain and share with my guests her knowledge of tea. This was a special celebration for me which was also acknowledged. My guests and I took great delight in sharing this quality experience together. Try it, I’m sure you will enjoy.

I do a lot of travelling for work and stay in many htels. However, this was my first stay at The Aviator Hotel and I think it is a brilliant hotel. The food was excellent and a great choice and the breakfast in my view was outstanding. I am a vegetarian and there was so much choice. The room was great and a good size and bed was very comfortable. Staff all lovely amd the outside area great to sit in at the end of the day. Loved it..

We had a lovely afternoon tea today. My friend’s vegan sandwiches were perfect!! All the food today was first class. Our server Matt was also excellent and had taken time to make himself aware of our last visit. We are coming back in October & November together and I think we are both visiting over the coming months with other friends. The Aviator is my favourite place for afternoon tea and cocktails.

We had a wonderful stay in celebration of our engagement! The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were all so attentive! Could not recommend enough!
