Coming down from Mistra Castle, I found this hotel on the spur of the moment. It was already late when I arrived. I went up the winding mountain road. There was a hotel sign on the mountain. I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up in the morning. It was surrounded by mountains and the air was super fresh. It was so quiet that I didn't dare to speak loudly in the room. I was supposed to stay for one night, but I loved it so much that I didn't want to leave, so I added another night. This environment and facilities were only 100 euros, which was really worth it! I love Greece!

The place has potential to be a great retreat. However, the amenities are simply not up to par. Our shower drain was slow emptying and would flood when we showered. I informed the front desk but it was not repaired. The sink drain was also slow, and the AC was struggling to work and never was able to actually cook the room to a comfortable temperature when the outside temperature was hitting close to 50 C. The folks at the pool are very good. The morning breakfast was standard, nothing out of the ordinary. The rice pudding was quite good though. I would not have written this review if I hadn’t gone to the front desk after the first night and asked for them to repair the items. When we returned after a long day and found the items unaddressed, it became clear ti me that it was not important enough to address. Also , the road to get up there is quite challenging, even for the most experienced of drivers so be careful!

I had 14 amazing days here. I loved every moment. The staff are very kind and helpful. The views from my room where breathtaking. The breakfasts are slways 100% fresh and homecooked with homemade baked goods daily. The room was lovely with an equiped kitchen, large shower, comfy bed, sizable wardrobe. The on site resturant has some really tasty options. I will 100% be going back to this amazing place.

Small, pleasant chalets (one room for the whole family). On the other hand, the shower window was broken so it was not possible to test the shower jets. the pool was too cold the day we went but the space was beautiful. Special mention to Elias at the swimming pool who was adorable and pampered the customers. A great, mostly homemade breakfast.

Absolute beauty in the fir trees! Excellent band! A little paradise, filled with all kinds of trees and plants in the heart of the mountain! The reception area with very beautiful decoration, the breakfast room in the same area of the hotel, with very nice furniture, attentive to all the details, from the crockery to everything it offers. Great variety and all handmade and all delicious (especially the cheese pie, crepes, rice pudding, dakos, bacon and of course Mrs. Katerina's pancakes)!!! The restaurant, in another area in the green with a beautiful view of the pool and the mountain, with a long list of food, wonderful salads, stews and of the hour in a wide variety. Mr. Sarandos is very kind and friendly! In the pool everything works as it should, Ilias is perfect! At the bar, towels for everyone, cleaning, service. Everything to perfection! The rooms are comfortable, very nicely decorated, with very nice linens and daily service. The staff in all areas are very kind, helpful, fast and smiling! Incredible and continuous cleanliness in all areas! And of course, from the hotel there is access to the paths of Taygetos, Magganiari spring, refuge, etc. A simply wonderful resort! Congratulations to everybody!

We had an excellent stay in this hotel perched high in the mountains. The setting is very beautiful and green and the view is unique. The rooms, although quite rustic and with a slightly outdated decor, are nevertheless spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Some details can be improved: cracked sink, peeling paint on the table on the balcony. The swimming pool is also a major asset of the place. In addition, the staff is attentive and very available and friendly. Breakfast is varied and offers many quality local products, homemade specialties such as jams, cakes and savory tarts. We dined 2 evenings at the hotel restaurant and were not disappointed. The atmosphere is a little gloomy, the menu is rather limited and basic but there are also very good and copious daily specials. The atmosphere is rather family-friendly and therefore very calm.

Perfect everything flawless and as befits a resort...the accommodation supports everything and you don't need it in the afternoon when it gets dark and it is steep and dangerous with many turns especially with snow to leave the hotel...it has everything you need with perfect and rich breakfast and during the day you make your excursions..very good for families, it also has a children's playground..
