At first we requested not be put in the other building because we wanted to be closer to the lobby, but it is the newer part of the hotel connected by a short hallway passing the pool area, which did have a slide and a water fountain and a very shallow side to make even the youngest happy. Along with a hot tub. We were way at the end of the hall on fourth floor of newer building with a great view of the town, our room was beautiful and spacious, and the walk to the lobby was not bad at all. One thing I want to say about this hotel they do take care of their visitors. Last time we stayed here last February they had happy hour from 5:00 pm 7:00pm where they served a small dinner and had complimentary glasses of wine and beer. Lol, sad to say this time no wine and beer but you get juice beverage, and dinner. I have never been to a hotel before that served breakfast and a small dinner for their guests. First night they served sloppy joes, chips and a salad, second night stay was a soup and crackers and not sure what else ( we didn’t make to that one) breakfast was good as well served eggs, patty or link sausage, waffles, country fried potatoes, waffles, donuts, muffins, cereal, toast bagels, juices, coffee, yogurt. Front desk has always been friendly as well as the cleaning staff. Very nice quiet motel, the only thing different about the new part and the old part the pillows were rocks, hubby had problems but since I always travel with my smooshie pillow I slept wonderful.
