Fengze International Hotel

After visiting the Pingxingguan Victory Memorial Hall, we navigated to the former site of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Military Region Headquarters. The route passed through the Wutai Mountain Scenic Area and we learned that self-driving cars must be reserved two days in advance, otherwise the car would not be allowed in, so we had to turn around and go down the mountain. On the way, I searched for a nearby hotel on Ctrip and selected it after reading the reviews. The overall feeling of this hotel is pretty good. The hotel has been open for more than ten years. The facilities are old but relatively easy to use. The hot water and shower heads are good. The rooms are generally hygienic. The towels are old and the service staff are very enthusiastic. The hotel The local dishes in the restaurant taste good, and the overall price/performance ratio is good. The natural scenery around Fanzhi County is still great.

Shahe Town is adjacent to the north of Wutai Mountain. Although it is not a county town, it seems to be more lively than Fanzhi County Town. This store looks like it has the highest star rating in town. It is quite large, has very convenient parking, and has proficient service. The room is large in size, fully equipped and hygienic, quite good. There is only room for improvement in two details: first, the toilet seat is not of the right size, and it does not cost much to purchase a suitable one; second, the frosted glass in the bathroom is still a little too transparent, why not restore the previous curtains? It only takes more than an hour to drive from the hotel to the north gate of Wutai Mountain. Compared with the higher price and limited conditions of accommodation in Huai Town, Taishan, it is a good choice to stay in Shahe Town overnight. Here is a reminder for self-driving tourists: You must make a reservation in advance to enter the mountain. It is obviously more free and convenient to have your own car.

Anyway, this is the hotel that I feel has the worst accommodation experience... The environment is not good, the service attitude is also bad, and it is great at generating revenue. It is really a small place with a small layout. Several waiters made us feel distant from this place. If you don't want to listen, you can try it.

The room is very spacious, clean and tidy, the service staff is also very friendly, and the facilities and equipment are good. It would be perfect if the breakfast was richer (there was not even milk in the morning).

The location and hardware are good. It's not far from Wutaishan Railway Station. You can see the iconic buildings of Hanshan Scenic Area outside the room window. The hotel lobby is grand, the breakfast is rich, and the room is clean. The square across the road opens at 6:30 in the morning. The music was very disturbing, and when we were checking in in the lobby, the two young staff at the front desk missed the check-in information, causing us to wait for a long time without being able to go through the formalities. They were unapologetic afterwards and felt that their professionalism needed to be improved.
