Historic building beautifully restored and kept, located in the heart of Fano, few steps from the Piazza and five minutes walk to the “Sassonia” beach. Each accommodation is different but they all have a large bedroom, ample bathroom fully equipped and an efficiency. If you stay at the suite on the top floor as we did this time, you can enjoy an extra room perfect for breakfast or reading, while looking at the views of the city’s roofs and bell towers. Each room has anything you need for your staying, Tall ceiling, large windows, interesting antiques pieces and details are common in every room. The place is spotless. Gabriela Rotati is a perfect host and her team very courteous and friendly. The building has a courtyard where you can park your bicycle and there is a garden behind the building. Last but not least, the building is very quiet and you can relax and recharge at ease. We will be back

Having read Nicola C’s review here, amazingly we had a very similar experience. The only positive thing I can think of to say is that the location of the hotel is “quite” good. I must mention the air conditioning in my room. It was well over 30C whilst we were there. Our room comprised two rooms, divided by a thick wall. The inadequate air conditioning unit was in the second room, not the one with the bed in it! Sleeping therefore wasn’t comfortable, mattresses were like rocks, the room had nowhere to put anything, the bathroom was uncomfortably small with a tiny shower cabinet. I could go on but you probably get the gist. As Nicola said, breakfast was a complete joke - but not a funny one. Serving lukewarm coffee and orange squash for breakfast in Italy should be a capital offence. Fano isn’t blessed with a huge number of 5* hotels but seriously, anywhere else must be better than this. I also agree with Nicola that the photos do not reflect what was actually there.I also agree with Nicola that the photos do not reflect what was actually there. Avoid this place at all costs.

Welcome was friendly and helpful. Parking is basically down to you although they enable you to enter the Central Zone. Apartment was nice. Linen high quality. Bathroom soap etc was questionable and not really up to standard. Our main issue was the Breakfast, served in your Apartment. Limited choice and not the best quality. Coffee undrinkable. Disappointing for over £200 a night. Would we return? Great location but probably not

My wife and I spent four (4) nights in Fano back in March. I should have written this review months ago, but the fact that I’m writing it now shows how highly we think of the Palazzo Rotati. This charming property is located in the heart of downtown Fano, a couple of blocks from the town square. Surrounded by picturesque cobblestone streets, the hotel has a long storied history, just like everything else in Fano. I can’t say enough about the hospitality of the staff. Mr. Mendy and Gabriella were wonderful hosts. We stayed in a second floor apartment at the rear of the property and had absolutely no complaints. The unit even had its own washing machine which came in very handy during our 2 week trip. We absolutely loved our room key, no plastic key cards here! We also enjoyed a private tour of the Palazzo and the other accommodations were equally impressive. It will be difficult deciding which room to book on our next trip to Fano. We can’t wait!

Best boutique hotel/B&B in the Marche! Stunning historic palazzo. Gabriella is a fantastic host. She dealt with all of our special dietary requirements, accommodated us with a tea service when relatives visited us, and was an absolute pleasure to talk to. Her team is by far the best! Our room was spotless, breakfast served exactly on time (in room, which I loved) and always with a smile. And Jack the dog-we all fell in love with him ☺️ The location is the the best in Fano, just steps from the Piazza and shops and a very quick walk to the beach. The rooms are laid out perfectly, with comfortable beds, well laid out modern bathrooms, and a little kitchen which allowed us to make a simple dinner in our room a couple of times and have a spot to have tea at night. I've been going to Fano for years and always stayed with family. Having discovered this gem, I will stay here on all future visits. Many thanks to Gabriella, her team, and Jack!

Although our accomadations were lovely, I am a person with a disability and have trouble walking. Gabriella did not realize I understood more Italion than she gave me creidt for. When leaving she commented to my travel companion "Couldnt you find somneone else to travel with? She has trouble with mobility and you do not". I checked with my friend and this is an accurate translation of what was said. I found this comment to be shaming and demeaning of someone who has a disablity. If you have a disability or care about people who does I would not support this organization. Should people who are willing to be helpful to someone they love who has a disability be advised they would be better off with someone else? In all fairness the hotel is well located, lovely and staff are very kind and helpful.

Had two gorgeous nights here before heading to Gubbio. Staff are so friendly, helpful, kind. Breakfast is delicious and served in our kitchen at a time of our choosing. Location is perfect - right in the old town but completely quiet and peaceful at night. We hired bikes from the place on Via Christopher Columbus and had a lovely day riding out to dog beach, swimming in the shallows and having an ice cream. Will definitely return.
