I stayed at this hotel for a few days on business and will avoid it in future. How such a hotel can get 4 stars is a mystery. I had a casual conversation with my room neighbours in which they pointed out to me that the hotelier sometimes even comments on well-intentioned reviews in an insulting manner and that there is not the slightest understanding of constructive feedback. When looking through the reviews, I actually realised that the hotelier rejects all those with a lower rating and reacts in a superficially snide manner.

The room is too small, the bathroom window overlooks the corridor, excellent breakfast, the disabled room needs improvement... grab bars in the shower, bidet... On the other hand, Fano is very pretty and the hotel is in an excellent location. A four-star hotel must provide better services to disabled people

Nice hotel, clean double room, shame about the very small size, it's impossible for two people not to bump into each other while standing. There is almost no distance between the entrance door to the room and that of the bathroom. Good breakfast, courteous staff. Not new structure recently renovated with excellent restaurant delicacies, very friendly and professionalism distinguish them. Comfortable rooms, the only thing missing is some chairs in the room for those who work in the room.

It's always a pleasure to stay at the Augustus, we feel at home, very friendly, excellent cleanliness. Dinner at the La Lisca restaurant with excellent products and well-prepared dishes. Reception, breakfast, room, restaurant: all good. Sore point is the bathroom. A 4 star hotel with a bathroom like this... it just doesn't fit. The ones in the annexe are definitely better. I have read other similar reviews already in 2020 with answers that "first the rooms and then the bathrooms": in three years however.....

I stayed for work in this hotel, in the center of Fano, a stone's throw from the sea. It does not have parking but you can easily find a place outside, free of charge. The hotel is a little dated, it wouldn't hurt to refresh the structure as well as the rooms, the first two evenings I was assigned a double which was a bit small as was the bathroom. On the last evening we were changed to a more comfortable one. Excellent breakfast, varied, with various cakes. I give five stars to reward the staff, very kind, friendly and helpful, always ready to please the customer.

As usual, on the occasion of the Brodetto Fest event in Fano, we went with friends to eat brodetto at this restaurant in a four-star hotel. The broth was good even if not exciting, but the thing that left us most perplexed was the fact that the broth was served to us on a dinner plate... when the broth should be served in special dishes in such a way as to be able to collect the sauce and be able to dip the toasted bread. We were told that the soup plates were not enough for everyone, but in reality we did not see them at any table. I would suggest making a small investment in dishes for future occasions.
