Our stay was from 7/1/25 - 7/4/25. We have been coming to Arkin Palm Beach Hotel for 8 years consistently and have always thought it to be a fine hotel. However not this year. It might be the last time we come here. Here's why. Brace yourself. Upon checkout, not all of our luggages was completely given to us by the bell boy, as a result; a backpack with wallets, passports and another backpack belonging to our little one was left behind. It was only after we got home (1 hour drive) that we realized it was still at the hotel. We called the hotel to see if they could arrange a delivery, however given our travel needs and obvious concern w/ valuables and passport, we wanted it asap. We were told we'd have to fork over the delivery fee. Then, outrageously, the hotel said I was caught on camera, going into the luggage room myself to drop the backpacks off, which was the reason the luggage was left behind. This is completely untrue. The fact was someone from the service team (not bellboy) had helped me take the backpacks in. Why did they make up a lie about the camera recording? What was the point of that? And at no point was there any apology. After some back and forth, we decide to drive 1 hour to go back to the hotel to clear the air and pick up the backpacks. We get to the hotel. No apologies still. They stick to their story. I ask for their manager, they try to say manager is in a meeting and can't see us now. Another staffer says the manager is gone for the day. Sounds like a lot of excuses to keep management away from us. We ask about the video recording and I demand to see it. Finally, they admit that they lied about the video recording. They also admitted it was their fault for not catching the service team taking the luggage in. They also admitted the bellboy did not follow their hotel's processes to always ask customers to check baggage before leaving the hotel. 3 STRIKES. Yet, no apologies. No compensation. No nothing. Outrageously they had the audacity at the end to ask "don't you know what your bags look like?" In what world does this pass for customer service. I finally get the manager's name after some hesitation and they said they would "make things right". 2 days go by. No call. Nothing. We used to love the service, the food and drinks, and the feeling we could be carefree to enjoy a vacation under the sun. I say used to, because we may not come back again. The service has been abysmal this year. Customers used to mean something. I don't know what happened, but everything is wrong with the service. Turkish coffee isn't made correctly even by Turkish standards (my wife is Turkish Cypriot). Limonata is tasteless. Frappe drinks? Forget about it. Towel guy wouldn't give us back the correct number of towel cards. We asked for bottles of water and didn't hear back. We called to get the WIFI restored (WIFI is weak AF there by the way), they didn't call back to follow up. We asked to get the TV fixed, they didn't respond at all. Is there
