Penmere Manor Hotel

I really wanted to give a 4.5 here rather than a 4, the hotel is set in some lovely grounds with great views, there were 3 of us on tour with our bikes they were allowed to park very close to the hotel which was great. All the staff were fab that were front of house were friendly helpful and chatty, the unsung heroes of penmere are the kitchen staff the evening meal was fantastic and at breakfast although it's cooked to order some good quality produce was used, whatever you like for breakfast the choice is there in abundance. The only reason for not giving a 5star was the room, like others have said its tired and dated my room had a toilet with cheap plastic seat and had slightly sunk so it was at weird angle at the rear, the carpet had frayed under the window and the curtains didn't shut fully, they could also do with some security window locks on the ground floor didn't fancy sleeping with windows that could be fully opened from the outside which is probably bot good for some in the summer. Other than that it was a really good night's stay and can recommend and would stay here again.

We stayed for a night as a couple, as we were attending a concert at The Princess Pavilion. The hotel was perfectly placed, just 5 minutes walk away. Everything about the hotel was spot on. We had a sea view room was good which also had views of Pendennis Castle. All the staff were polite & helpful, in particular Orin, Dan & Ellie in the restaurant. The food was very nice & good value. This was our first stay at the Falmouth, but we would thoroughly recommend it, & we will return again soon hopefully

I chose this hotel as the one I usually stay at is expensive. On arrival it was easy to park on the street outside the property. Check in was easy, you just push the bell and you are checked in straight away. My room was pleasantly upgraded which I was pleased about and that was kind. The room was very clean and comfortable, nice little touch with the chocolates on the bed! Nice tea making facilities with biscuits. Shower toiletries available. Free wifi. Breakfast, I asked if I could have breakfast a bit earlier as I needed to be somewhere and they accommodated me very well. Lovely breakfast and lots of choice. I would stay here again 🙂
