Craignish Apartments

We just left 14, Craignish most reluctantly after a three night stay. It was beautifully furnished, warm with all amenities we looked for and more besides. Lovely and clean, (even in the corners!) lovely and warm. The finding instructions were not clear so we had to phone the given number twice. Our call was answered immediately by a lovely lady who willingly helped us. The area around is in the process of redevelopment, which will only improve the apartments surroundings. Very close to a retail park, buses, cinema and Grahamston railway station. We used public transport for our excursions. More than satisfied. The apartment was over and above our expectations. Hope to return one day.

Property inside is excellent. Advert claims a sauna, wedding facilities, snooker and pool in the 'complex'. Reality is it is a 1st floor flat of a converted terrace house. Staircase is full of weeds. Next door is a building site. Owner says advert is wrong. Bit late as i had already booked. Facilities are unconnected establishments nearby. Very disappointed.

We were pleased to see that we were close (walkable) to an M&S food store and McDonalds. The apartment was well equipped - great washing machine , good oven, microwave and coffee machine. Coffee capsules were provided for machine and there was a small pkt of local fudge and some biscuits. The large TV was easy to use, the couch comfortable and the dishwasher worked well. The bathroom was small but well equipped and the towels lathe and fluffy! I would recommend to any single or couple wanting somewhere to stay while they explore the area .
