Great location and lovely room. The only issue I have is that the housekeeping team knocked early on the door both days waking us up. I suggest on the last night of the stay the housekeeping team wait until the residents have checked out before wanting to gain access to the room.

My mother and I checked in to Jury's Hotel Swindon for what was to be a short two-day stay for a convention. Due to a medical emergency and then us both falling ill, our two day stay turned into a seven day one. Jury's became our home away from home and couldn't have been better. The staff were all extremely supportive and kind given our unfortunate situation. I didn't catch anyone's name, but I wanted to especially thank two members of staff who helped me with my mother when she fell very ill and needed to go to the emergency room. The two ladies went above and beyond their usual work duties without any hesitation. I owe them a huge debt of gratitude and I certainly hope their supervisors recognize the amazing staff they are so fortunate to have. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a great view of Swindon, which is a charming town. Especially old town Swindon, just up the street from the hotel. It's centrally located on many major bus lines and is a short walk from the bus station. The buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious, as was every meal we had from the restaurant. My only complaint is that the room did not have a mini-fridge or microwave, which would have been extremely convenient for us, but we were able to eat just fine between the food delivery apps available and the hotel restaurant. I wish every hotel was Jury's Inn Swindon caliber. Well done. 👏

When I booked the hotel, I wrote a parking lot. I didn’t go there. I have to pay another 9.5 pounds to the nearby parking lot. The service is not good. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 rooms. On the first night, we told the front desk that we wanted to change the second night. 1 is not changed.

A return visit, Lovely to be recognised by some staff, who gave us a very warm welcome. The Hotel is clean, the staff friendly as well as professional. Food is plentiful, tasty and very well presented. Very much enjoy our time here, and really hope we can return later in the year. We arrived early in the morning, in the hope we could leave our cases while going to explore! We were welcomed straight away when we walked through the door with a big smile! We instantly felt relaxed. The attention to detail doesn't not go unnoticed from the decor inside and outside to customer care. The staff are a total asset, They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. Breakfast had a fab selection of cold or hot options and was delicious 😋 . Dinner at the Crown was divine. (Did not want to share the apple crumble with my partner🤣) Our room had the same cosy wow factor as the rest of the hotel. Little touches like having the pantry and getting fresh milk delivered every morning, all add to charm of Wild Thyme and Honey. Thank you for such a lovely stay. We hope to visit again. Would recommend this hotel to anybody. We stayed in room 23, Watermill!

We needed an overnight to break our journey on the M4. This was ideal. Quick, friendly check-in with hot brealfast pre-ordered. Room and bed OK for what we paid (but would have liked two pillows and more tea bags.) Bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower good though lacking a grab rail over the bath. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and hot breakfast nicely cooked. Large well lit car park with CCTV. We would use this hotel again.

We had a stopover in Swindon so that we could travel to Stonehenge for my wife’s birthday. I asked the hotel in advance to do something to mark the occasion, which they did very well. When we checked in, the room had balloons and happy birthday messages all around the room. Another thing that impressed me was the breakfast. I have just been to a Premier Inn hotel in London on business at the time of writing this review. While Premier Inn offers slightly more variety in their breakfast foods, the quality of food in this Holiday Inn Express is exceptional, light years ahead of Premier Inn. Well done, Holiday Inn Express Swindon West!
