If you love a private setting in the woods, with a balcony to view the aurora or just enjoy peace and quiet then you will love this acommodation. Since we visited in September, we only had one brief viewing of the aurora, but the fall colors were beautiful. This location is great for Chena Hot Springs, Museums in Fairbanks, North Pole, and even Denali isn't too far to drive down for a day. The breakfasts were delicious and staff very pleasant. There is an aurora wakeup call if its out. We loved being able to sleep knowing that if it appeared, they would wake us. Next time, I would visit in October or March or early April to see aurora. Plan to stay at least 5 days for a better chance seeing the skies light up.
