Ein schnuckeliges, sauberes Hotel mit hoher Wertschätzung und Vertrauen dem Gast gegenüber, und einer Vielzahl netter kleiner Gesten, die mir das Gefühl vermittelten , wirklich willkommen zu sein. Das Frühstück wird nach individuellen Wünschen von einer sehr vielseitigen Liste bedarfsgerecht serviert, das spart Ressourcen, ohne geizig zu wirken. Es fiel mir sehr schwer, das freundlich lächelnde Frühstücksei tatsächlich zu köpfen :-)

Nachdem wir noch unter alter Leitung geführt ein paar Mal das Hotel aufsuchten, buchten wir zum ersten Mal nach dem Besitzerwechsel unseren Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind weiterhin sauber, der Empfang freundlich, der Aufenthalt angenehm. Zum Frühstück trifft man eine Vorauswahl unter vielen gelisteten Möglichkeiten, um Abfall zu vermeiden, auch kann dies spontan geändert werden. Die Qualität ist gut. Auch wenn das Hotel im kleinen Ort Fachbach gelegen ist, gibt es einige Möglichkeiten. Bad Ems und Koblenz sind per Rad und Auto direkt oder von Nievern aus per Bahn schnell zu erreichen. Den nahegelegenen Campingplatz hört man regulär nicht, doch ist er und das Restaurant fußläufig zu erreichen. Ein weiterer Gasthof liegt dem Hotel fast gegenüber, so dass es kein Problem ist, dass im Sommer das hauseigene Restaurant geschlossen ist - zumal das des Campingplatzes den Hotelbetreibern gehört.
