Brilliant room. Only a fleeting visit and needed a safe nice room for after a friends gathering ( actually it was a 40th year school reunion) our party/gathering was just below in the Topsham cellar bars so a convenient tiptoe end of evening up to the globe. Parking in the harbour was perfect albeit pay and display so ensuring ticket valid and topped up for overnight. Room ,we literally fell asleep. Up showered cup of tea biscuit and plodded to save the car from a ticket. But I thought the quality of the room very pleasant clean and welcoming. Thank you for having us xx

Great hotel, pub, location and facilities, but the staff are outstanding! Shout out to Nicki for her organising of our wedding group, but major shout out for Ali who helped me out by washing my shirt as it was stained, and then getting me a new shirt when the stains wouldn't go! Best service ever. But overall, really helpful and friendly, with great facilities, top notch breakfast, good ales and wines, and right in the centre of town. Perfect!

Excellent stay at The Globe. We had a top floor, courtyard room which was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Great shower/ bath and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was superb - probably the best we've had for a long time. Plenty of choice and hot options freshly cooked to order and served to the table by friendly , smiling staff. Would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend to anyone needing a lovely place to stay in Topsham.

Really helpful staff and lovely comfortable room. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you! And a Really good breakfast too! Interesting menu for food, but we ate at The Galley restaurant, which was superb..................................

I have stayed here many times and generally have had positive experiences. Unfortunately this time they have decided to allow rowdy drinkers to drink late into the night in the courtyard. This is a conflict of interests when they have paying customers staying in their bedrooms that surround the small courtyard. I understand you will let people drink until after 11pm but why allow them to be outside. Such a shame. Will think twice about staying here again.

I did not actually stay, but I cannot thank them enough for the prompt, reasonable and professional way they dealt with my booking error which was my entirely my mistake and not theirs. I will definitely be back on the future for sure . Thanks very much

Most importantly we had two great nights of sleep. This was our second visit to the Globe and again it was most comfortable and enjoyable. I would have scored it more if it hadn’t had such an awful creaky floor, room 12. Just not nailed/screwed down properly, which not only caused an awful noise but caused problems with the floor tiles in the bathroom. Nevertheless good value for money and a fab bed. Thanks all

Great stay, lovely big room (room 20), massive bed. TV WAAAAAY too small. Not disturbed by noise from the lovely bar. Brekkie in the hotel was 1st rate with loads of choice. Staff are spot on. We won't stay anywhere else when next we visit. Thanks The Globe and hope to see you soon.

We often stay at The Globe on our way to Cornwall but this time we brought my elderly uncle who stayed there for two nights by himself until we picked him up on our return journey. He had a fabulous time, particularly enjoyed the beef pie, plus the friendly service. Freya was particularly helpful. We all enjoyed a Sunday roast together on our final night, served by friendly Tilda and Freddie.
