Premier Inn Exeter Central St Davids

An ok hotel very near the train station. They were very short staffed just 2 staff running reception and the restaurant, also very strangely the staff told us not to have their baby cot as poor quality. Appreciate the honesty but would recommend this is sorted

Location is good and convenient. Suitable for a short stay.

Nice clean room. Well soundproofed from the traffic noise and the most amazing blackout curtains. The only drawback was not enough pillows if there are two of you, and the duvet is too warm for us ladies of a certain age, so a spare throw or light blanket may be a good idea so we can forfeit the weighty quilt.

The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly, helpful and efficient. A nice start to our overnight stay. The hotel was ideally situated, only a 15 minute walk from Exeter Cathedral and as it was a Sunday, there was free street parking between 5pm - 9am directly outside the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom. It looked like the bathroom had undergone a recent refurbishment, it was spotless. And the famous Hypnos bed lived up to expectations. We had a great nights sleep. We have family in Exeter and the next time we visit we will definitely be staying here again.

Stayed two nights. Room very well and IMO recently [re-]fitted out, ample space even for normal room, everything worked, towels etc. all clean and fluffy, easy check in and out. Dined in the hotel the second night as we had an early flight out, and this was good too especially on their inclusive dinner and breakfast deal.
