Seeing the fabulous comments about Weeke Barton in The Times on 26th July reminded me that I never posted a review after my family stayed there at the end of May for a wedding near by. We experienced both options of ‘ normal hotel guests’ and ‘ take over the whole hotel as a quasi AirBnB’ whilst we were there for five nights. Both options were brilliant. The atmosphere, the comfort, and how helpful our hosts were will live comfortably alongside our many memories of a wonderful family wedding. I am not a regular Trip Advisor contributor, yet I want to add to The Times review by saying that Weeke Barton was one of the most enjoyable stays in a hotel that my family and I will ever have. Our dogs loved their welcome too!

Weeke Barton was quirky, fascinating and beautiful. Sam & Jo made us feel very welcome and relaxed. The choice of breakfast was really good, especially the homemade muesli. Our room was beautiful The area is great for anyone that enjoys walking. Definitely 10/10

Weeke Barton is in the most fabulous location overlooking the valley. Our hosts shared brilliant tips for local walks and places to visit. The breakfast was superb. Our room was very comfortable with beautiful views. I would definitely recommend Week Barton.

Weeke Barton is a lovely small, 6 bedroom hotel. Sam & Jo are delightful hosts very willing to help and offer advice and they provide great breakfasts! The hotel is in the middle of very rural Devon, a short drive from Dartmoor so you definitely need a car, (although taxis are available to take you to and from the pub for dinner) but it's super quiet and peaceful.

A beautiful country property, with wonderful country views and a lovely historic ambiance. The breakfast was amazing, the beds incredibly comfortable and the showers warm and welcoming. A lot of thought has gone into every detail and the love and care and creates a beautiful country experience.

Bank holiday weekend with the extended family - Weeke Barton was perfect. 6 x en-suite rooms, plenty of living space with cosy nooks if you wanted. Bedrooms were well appointed and apportioned. The layout worked perfectly allowing the younger family members at one end of the house allowing the less young a quieter morning. The kitchen is large and well equipped and in the dining room there’s a table big enough to sit 12. Outside is lovely - sitting areas, fire pit (we didn’t use) BBQ. We did enjoy cricket on the artificial wicket! A lovely place to stay and we would recommend
