Stayed at an upgraded harbor view king room. One of the largest and nicest room I have stayed this year at the price of a Marriott Courtyard stay downtown. Almost everything can be controlled via the IPad. Mini bar is stocked with drink and snacks, the price is steep and the items will be charged to you room if you pick them up for more than 30 secs. The front desk staff did warn me of that so I was not surprised by that. You will have to pay to use the fridge if you want to store your own items. Aside from the location, everything else is 5 star for me But from what I read online, the Encore does offer shuttle services to downtown/chinatown. Will stay again if I’m ever in Boston in the future.

I was in the area looking at universities with my son. Having stayed in a couple of hotels that were expensive on the way to Boston (but were hugely disappointing) I couldn't spend hundreds on another night and feel the room wasn't clean, was tired/dated and yucky. So coming into Boston, I struggled to find a hotel that was really nice for less than $500 per night. The Encore was one of the best value places I could find and so reluctantly, I booked. I am so thrilled I did. It felt like incredible value for what we got and a real treat after being on the road for a few days in very average places. It was clean, large, well considered and was a fun place for us to lay our heads for the night. We didn't take part in the casino (I didn't realise it was a casino) but we had a fun dinner and enjoyed the property the next day too. Highly recommended!

Best Hôtel, My Best Valentine's Day.

Room was great. Bed very comfortable. Did NOT have a refrigerator or microwave. I like to make tea in the morning with cream and all they had was a coffee machine. For $300+ a night amenities would be nice.

Our stay was absolutely brilliant- the staff are amazing, most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, and we got upgraded to a harbour view room. The only small negative is the location- however they make up for it by offering multiple ways to get downtown for free.

Very slow front desk response service called 5x for someone to come to my room to help with bringing luggage to lobby

Excellent hotel with great facilities. Room were large and comfortable. The casino was big and had a good selection of games. Highly recommend this hotel as it's prices are decent for what it has.
