The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable. We made the mistake of arriving on a Sunday, thinking that as it had a bar and restaurant that they would be open. They weren't. I can only think that the three star rating for this place is due to the fact that they have such facilities. Pity they're closed at weekends. We had to drive a few miles to go to dinner on the town. We had to ring a phone number to be let in on arrival, which is not very welcoming. The hotel is in the middle of a tatty industrial park, and we did worry about parking our car there, but it was intact in the morning. We had a kettle in the room, but no cups or tea or coffee. The Receptionist provided cardboard cups etc upon request. The room was OK, basic, but we didn't pay a fortune to stay here. It was clean. Breakfast was a shambles. The Receptionist and a colleague were setting tables, but it turned out that they were setting them for dinner. As we went to sit down, staff removed placemats etc. Simple verbal communication would have been useful, there was no attempt to speak to us in French or English to explain what was happening. We managed to get the last couple of croissants and pieces of bread before they ran out at 8.30. Otherwise we would have had to manage with fruit, yogurts and ham. We did hear some people quite rightly grumbling about it. Upon departure, no-one asked us whether we'd had a pleasant stay, or even wished us ”bon voyage”. A man merely took our key from us with a ”merci”. Bottom line is, that I wouldn't stay here again. There is plenty of choice closer to Evreux.

A modern hotel just outside the central area of the town. Very clean and comfortable rooms with all the usual things you would expect from an hotel that probably caters as much to business travellers as tourists. The breakfast buffet is good but some more fresh fruit would make it even better, No restaurant for dinner although there is a limited rooms service offer. For restaurants, a 10 minute walk down a quiet street with narrow pavements leads to the town centre and a more historic environment.

The hotel room environment is a bit old, and there is nothing around except 2 barbecue halls. But the breakfast is very rich, the waiters are also super beautiful, a high service attitude, the old gentleman who watched the night is very enthusiastic

Good location as there are limited options in the area. The hotel is basic at best. Small windows, tiny in wall cooling unit, one power plug for entire room, mismatched pillows of uncertain history. Dry wall patches and old mismatched and dinged up furniture. A metal stool is the only chair in the room. For a single woman traveler it’s unnerving that it’s a physical key which could easily be copied. I do think it’s clean which is a plus. The breakfast and dinner room are actually quite nice although both did not eat in them. Staff does not speak English and there are no elevators to reach the second floor rooms. All in all it’s a “hard pass,” and I’d look elsewhere for more than a nights stay.
