Am Vortag eröffnetes Hotel daher an der ein oder anderen Ecke noch Bauatmosphäre, besonders draußen. Lage in unattraktivem Gewerbe-Mischgebiet, mit Auto gut zu erreichen, zur nächsten Straßenbahn sind es ca. 300m. Die Zimmer und das Hotel sind modern und chic, das Frühstück hat uns auch in der Art der Präsentation und bez. der Auswahl gefallen. In dem gebuchten Hipster Studio kleine Küchenzeile mit Kühlschrank, praktisch sind auch Bluetooth-Lautsprecher für das Smartphone. Allerdings hat das Hipster Studio sicher nicht die aufgeführten 32qm! Überwiegend freundliches Personal. Zusammenfassend hat es uns gut gefallen, aktuell auch gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Hotel liked! Good location (near the train station), very welcoming staff, comfortable rooms. Very satisfied breakfast with excellent choice of dishes (even fried potatoes were present)! I arrived very tired, left with a lot of positive emotions!

Favorite · The lobby is a co- breakfast room and is very beautifully designed. The room had a pleasant size and air conditioning that really worked well, because during our stay it was very hot in Ettlingen. The location is OK, to the center of the city there is a beautiful path along the river ”alb” and takes about 10-15 min. To the very beautiful swimming pool, it is also just a few minutes walk. Not liked · Breakfast was quite modest. Dry backs, sauce and cheese very simple, smoking tasteless ... But the coffee was fine.

There is a parking lot for money, and the hotel is very good, but Ctrip's agents are rubbish. I booked for six days, and then stayed for two days and got a rash all over the body. First I went to see the doctor. The doctor suggested changing the room. When I went to the front desk, I saw that the front desk only charged for two nights. But Ctrip said the agent did not agree to the refund of the money later. It is still under negotiation. There is an option in Ctrip to pay at the store, and then the hotels here do not pay at first, and the settlement will be settled when you leave, so everyone will pay at the store after booking the hotel.

Wir waren enttäuscht: Im Februar 2022 nur Zimmerfrühstück ”wg. Corona”, welches man am Vorabend bestellen und die Lieferzeit angeben musste. Standard-Zimmer einschl. Bad sehr klein, Zimmertür zum Vorflur ließ sich nicht schließen (Bett im Weg), einfache Ausstattung. Wir wussten überhaupt nicht, wie und wo wir unser Frühstück einnehmen sollten. Die vier Sterne haben wir nicht gefunden. Dafür sind rd. 133 Euro + 15 Euro Tiefgarage pro Nacht zu viel. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Lage mitten im Zentrum, das überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal, die hauseigene Tiefgarage, in die man auch mit einem großen Auto kommt (allerdings muss man für Ein- und Ausfahrt sich jeweils eine Karte an der Rezeption holen und anschließend gleich wieder abgeben), freie Minibar (4 Flaschen).

The receptionist also showed a remarkable organizational talent. She managed to handle the requests of several guests at the same time, always maintaining a quiet and professional treatment. No matter how stressful it was behind the treasure, she always kept her positive attitude and made the impression that she was personally careful of every guest. In addition, the receptionist was always premature and emotional. She took time to listen to my questions and concerns patiently and give me the feeling that my wellbeing was the highest priority for her. Your service was always characterized by a personal note that made my stay even more pleasant. In general, I would like to praise the hotel receptionist for her extraordinary performance and her excellent skills. She is a valuable staff member who enrichs the Hotel Angel by her professionalism, hospitality and awareness. I can recommend them warmly and look forward to my next stay in this hotel, where I can be sure I will meet again at a so qualified and warm reception.

Hotel is closely located to the Messe Karlsruhe and easily accessible by public transportation. The look and feel of the hotel is modern in overall and is nicely done (floral-themed), the rooms clean and nicely furnished. Overall nice stay. However, two things we weren’t pleased about and also heard other people complain about: This hotel is not accepting any cash but cards only. For guests from abroad, even small bills needed to be paid with card and commission usually apply for each transaction. Totally get the thinking of the cards-only policy but it definitely is not guests-friendly at all. The other thing is that we forgot to bring our travel adapter. Not the first time but in all previous hotel, we have also been able to borrow one from the reception. From a hotel which is located closest to a venue like the Messe Karlsruhe and with almost 160 rooms, we would’ve expected that they are prepared with a few travel adapter. Fact is: they have not a single one. As said: overall nice stay and we would probably book again, if we’re going to visit the Messe Karlsruhe but otherwise, we would definitely look for another hotel.

Cet hôtel se trouve à moins de 30 minutes de Baden Baden au pied du parc du château. L’environnement est très calme. Dommage que la climatisation soit si bruyante. La décoration est relativement récente. Il y a un parking sous l’hôtel avec un tarif exorbitant de 17 euros par jour alors qu’il y a des places de parking devant. Donc bien mais des points à améliorer.

The hotel is easy to access via public transport with a good location central to the things you want to see in Karlsruhe. I had a nice, quiet room overlooking the back courtyard and the bathroom was clean and modern. Complimentary breakfast and a very nice sauna!
