I have travelled since I was a kid all over the world, but I believe this is the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed at all things considered. Me and my wife have stayed there two years in a row now. I would recommend it to everyone except for noise groups of people since it is a very soothing and relaxing place.

Near Silves amidst wine grapes and nature lies this lovely Quinta. Nice places to visit in the Algarve are just around the corner. Karin and Imco are very hospitable and relaxed. You can put your own sardines on the grill or cook in your own apartment with a super well-equipped kitchen. The Apartment is very nicely cared for each is decorated differently and well furnished with everything you need for a stay with them. The shared-use pool is great for cooling off after a day in the region . The grounds are beautifully maintained and cared for. There is a large communal area inside and outside. Definitely a place to come back to again.

Quinta Tapada do Gramacho was our choice after intense studies where it would suit us best to explore the Algarve. We can only express our gratefulness for the time that we spent with Karin and Imco there. As Algarve is divers it was like coming back to our oasis, have a dip in the pool, enjoy a cold drink and listen only to the bells of the sheep passing close by. The retreat presents itself in an excellent way. Everywhere is beauty and it is perfectly maintained. The rooms are big enough to feel comfortable and the lounge has a nice atmosphere during breakfast, whilst in the evenings we could sit outside and enjoy our self-made dinner or just have a chat with other guests. Imco and Karin are experts to assist you in your forward planning for daily activities or the selection of a restaurant. The resort is at the board of the river Arade and we saw plenty, but really plenty of storks flying close by. You can also count on beautiful sunsets and many stars at the sky. Sylves is a charming town some 4 km away and only the last 800 meters towards the Quinta Tapada you find an easy-going gravel road. Close by there is a winemaker where you can book a tasting whilst enjoying a beautiful look over the valley. So, check it out yourself, we will come back if Portugal appears again on our travel list.

Wederom genoten van een heerlijk verblijf; bedankt Imco & Karin. We komen al vele jaren; iedere keer genieten we van de rust, prachtige omgeving en persoonlijke service. Heerlijke uitvalsbasis van rust te midden van bruisende Algarve met alle prachtige en mooie stranden, restaurants en wijngaarden. Deze B&B, waar wij altijd een appartement boeken, ligt te midden van prachtige wijngaard van ARVAD. Met prachtige (wandel/fiets) routes naar Silves bijv. Echte aanrader voor wie van rust, ruimte, natuur en persoonlijke service houdt! Tot volgend jaar Imco & Karin!

Heel prettig verblijf gehad, lekker rustig, de kamers waren erg schoon en de faciliteiten waren erg goed. De eigenaren zijn heel lief en behulpzaam. Vanaf hier kan je met de auto genoeg beleven van wandelingen tot stranden en dorpen in de omgeving. Ik zou het zeker aanraden!

Potentieel 5 sterren. Gastvrije ontvangst, mooie ruime kamer met goede douche (helaas geen thermostaatkraan). Alles is schoon, fijn zwembad, prima ontbijt met verse jus, fruit en pastel de nata. Prachtige afgelegen lokatie waar geen 4 / 5G is. Dat zou een pré zijn als de wifi goed zou zijn. Maar de zeer matige Wifi is alleen in de gezamenlijke woonkamer. In de slaapkamer is geen tot nauwelijks wifi. In de gezamenlijke woonkamer staat ook een TV, maar ‘s avonds kijken is geen optie omdat je lek geprikt wordt door de muggen. Op de slaapkamers (welke je mug-dicht kan maken met een hordeur) is geen TV. Ook geen airconditioning! Niet in de slaapkamer en ook niet in de gemeenschappelijke woonkamer. Lekkere koffie!!! Dus 4 punten aanpakken, dan mag het wat mij betreft 5 sterren zijn.
