Ikos Andalusia

We have just returned from Ikos Andalucia. I will start at the beginning. When we arrived a little after six in the evening, we were received very poorly. Virtually nothing was explained and we didn't know where to go at all. We had to figure everything out for ourselves. The first evening we had dinner at Beach Club. There was absolutely nothing to complain about here and we enjoyed our first evening. Furthermore, we went to the bar for a while. The main bar is rather small considering the number of people in the bar. The cocktails are not special and are very sweet and no quality fresh produce used at all. Arrived at the room: no warm welcome with a bottle and a snack. Totally nothing in the room. Very sad for a hotel 5 star deluxe. Also never experienced before. Our room was very small. We had a superior seaview. We had room 1313. We had absolutely no place to put our suitcase. There were also dirty chairs (photos can be supplied), stubborn spots on the terrace and a place to put something was completely stained with big black streaks. There was also a very pungent sewer smell in the room during our stay and a very dull mouldy smell in the shower. Dissatisfaction was reported to you as early as the beginning of the stay but all you offered us was 1 night in a higher room type: the last night when we had to pack our bags. We were completely ignored. Further, I had asked to get cola zero deca and Nespresso deca in the room for health reasons, but after 1 day, this was not spontaneously delivered to the room. Furthermore, we never received large bath towels during our 6-day stay and I had to ask for flannels to be brought to the room daily. Regarding reservations in the a-la-carte restaurants, I would like to point out that it is not normal that you absolutely cannot deviate from the original reservations. Result: ended up in the buffet restaurant almost all evenings due to absolutely no flexibility from the hotel. Furthermore, the entertainment and evening entertainment was below par for a hotel of such a category. Entertainment like White Night below par. Experienced White Night earlier this year at Ikos Olivia and there they did pay due attention to the event and it was a really fun experience for the whole family. The last afternoon went to eat at Fresco. I had a sole with fries there. A Mac Donalds menu looks more appetising. Again, photos can be supplied. Requested certain wine on the wine list and no longer available. Then a hot bottle of wine was offered as an alternative. Furthermore, I would like to raise the issue of the beach. This is totally unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. Absolutely nothing has been done about the state of the beach. As a final point, I would like to let you know that all the info on the app is out of date. Furthermore, I got a very harsh impression that these were the last days. Staff who were no longer friendly, wines that ran out,.... This morning at the hotel, at 8.30 am we could not get into our room as our

5 days into our fifth visit to IKOS Andalusia since 2021, and I don’t even know where to start with. Very generously we have been offered a sneak preview on the new 4 bedroom villas, the penthouses and the new deluxe suites that have been built in lightwarp speed since our last visit in November 2023. The villas are the first private ones in the Mediterranean and they are truly spectacular. The buildings mold in perfectly into the deluxe area and give the entire resort an even more elegant finish. They will be completed by more villas on the east shore across the little river in the medium term. So, the deluxe area is really amazing now, a perfectly tranquil beautiful spot. The flowers in the resort have been topped up and are even more lavish than before - a beauty to the eye! Housekeeping is outstanding again thanks to Concha Fernandez- probably the cleanest resort I know, which is such a pleasure! The team works like a clockwork, mastering these immense additions almost at a blink of an eye. The famous sommeliere Athanasia Lamprou has gotten long needed support from Alicia and Miguel (Mr. TAITTINGER 🤩) which is a very nice service. Food is mostly excellent again, Kostas, the newly promoted F&B manager is doing a great job. I believe all of the restaurants have quiet zones that are strictly followed. The quiet zone of Seasons has moved to its rooftop which is beautiful. Dinner by the sea is now located in the Chiringuito truly at the sea. The bikes have been replaced with new ones, which was necessary. The gym is equipped with state of the art electronic Technogym equipment. Aqua fit was real fun with José today, so there is plenty of ways to burn all the calories 🤩 Antonio is taking super good care of our boy at the soccer academy, he loves it! And magic Pilar Artacho Miranda and her most warmhearted colleague Malama make sure that nothing can be too much trouble, same goes for Tasos, the hotel manager. The spa is amazing again, I took the volcano hot stone therapy and it was such an experience! Vasia and her team, especially Sandra and Mahi, are really good in what they are doing. I could continue like this for longer and we are super happy that we have 8 more days to go and another booking for fall! Thank you to the entire team from housekeeping to the management for spoiling us beyond belief again!! 🫶🫶🫶

This is our second time visiting this property and we can't stop coming back and seeing all the familiar faces. We just love Ikos as the hotel and also Ikos as a brand in general goes above and beyond to ensure our experience is memorable and delightful. We have now stayed at 3 different Ikos properties, and we will continue to follow Ikos around the world for their unparalleled service and hospitality. As usual the staff made us feel like royalty. Dimitra and Tasos were exceptionally helpful and amazing, always ready to assist with any request, no matter how big or small. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction truly set the tone for our entire stay. It was really nice seeing Dimitra again as we first saw her when the hotel first opened just after the Covid lockdown. A mention must also go to Kostas, who took the time to understand and cater to our dietary requirements. As we require halal meat, this was very important to us, and Kostas made sure that our needs were always met. Kostas checked in on us regularly, ensuring that every meal was prepared according to our specifications. This level of attention and care is something we have rarely experienced elsewhere. Thank you, Ikos, for another unforgettable stay. You have a loyal customer for life!

Just back from an amazing stay at Ikos Andalusia, our second time. We stayed for a week and found it better than ever! With the new additions for the deluxe area we were spoilt! A huge thanks to Dora who was very attentive and kept us supplied with drinks throughout our time at the deluxe pool. Our daughter had a lovely time at kids club, met some wonderful friends and enjoyed the range of activities they had on offer. Our breakfast at seasons each morning was beautiful and Fernando was a fantastic waiter here. The kids shows and then the evening musical shows were fantastic! We enjoyed all our restaurant visits, beautiful atmosphere and surroundings and the staff were absolutely brilliant. We will certainly be back next year.

Andalusia is a real treat, another great experience for us, amazing hotel setting, service amazing and staff attentive, they will do anything to help you, we loved the restaurants and the shows in the theatre, the hotel has a great selection of pools (heated), and its not overcrowded. Special mention to Sia, the wine sommelier, thank you Sia for your great service, wine tasting was fun and informative and you and your team especially Alicia were the best, making sure we had great wine choices each evening You made our holiday. Also I'd like to mention Sofia at Flavours restaurant, this is our 3rd visit to Andalusia and I have to stay Sofia has been outstanding every time! I'd go as far as to say her service is probably the best we have received at all Ikos resorts in all the restaurants. And finally a mention for Lucia, Guest Relations Supervisor, Lucia looked after us throughout our week, checking in with us with her lovely smile, we 1st met Lucia on our very 1st visit to Andalusia and have seen her progress from assistant waitress, to waitress to now Guest Relations Supervisor! I love the way Ikos progress staff through promotions and I can see Lucia going a long way! Well done Lucia.

A fantastic holiday from start to finish. Our 2nd visit to this hotel and we will definitely be back! Food, wine and service all great. What more could we want from a holiday where we just wanted to chill and be taken care of? We have visited other Ikos resorts but this is our favourite.

There is a reason my family and I keep going back to this fabulous resort (this year was our 3rd year in a row and we’re already talking about booking for next year) - it literally ticks every single box for a fabulous holiday! The resort itself is just wow - the many pools and restaurants, and beach front etc. The food is amazing - you can tell nothing is skimped on in terms of quality (extremely difficult to pick a favourite one from the many restaurants but if I had to it would be the pork shank from Beach Club 👌👌👌). The staff are just wonderful - they couldn’t do enough for us - with a special call out to Darko in the tapas restaurant on the beach (and Flavours) - he was just fabulous! This place is made (perfect) for families - the amenities (the kids pools with toys), the shows put on in the evening (music, birds etc), as well as the onsite crèche Heroes Club. Our 2.5 year old has gone to the crèche there each year for a few hours most days and loves it - it’s a great set up with lots of activities, they do art for example - a special call out to Eleni and the team in Hereos (in particular thank you Laura!) - we knew our little guy would be happy and in safe hands with them. There is so much more I could say but this would be one an essay - I cannot recommend this resort enough it truly makes for a magical holiday!

The best service I have ever received at a hotel. Food was excellent and the whole place was spotless. Loads of pools to choose from and the water was clear and clean. Special thanks to Dora, Shannon and Andrea from the Deluxe pool area, and Mandy and Team for being so quick to respond to my requests. Lots of nice little touches, that made the stay special - the pillow menu and the tote bag are a couple of good examples.

Exceptional hotel and facilities. Perfect time of year to travel with a little one as so many other kids her age. Went above and beyond for our daughter’s birthday (helium balloons, flower bouquet, cakes, hand delivered gift to the room). All restaurants superb and high standard for all inclusive (preferred breakfast Al a Carte to buffet as can get busy). Crèche we used every day because our daughter asked to go back all the time, great care taken and next year she will be old enough for kids club. Bikes a lovely touch and nice to have a family outing. Use of Tesla again great extra and we explored one day (picnic provided by hotel at no additional charge). Deluxe rooms exceptional with so many additional benefits and entertainment great for kids and adults. My only regret we didn’t do 10 nights.
