They provide high quality of mattress in King Coils brand. Absolutely comfortable to sleep.

We had a great time at the Royal Hotel. Staff were relaxed and super friendly and the rooms were on the smaller side but very clean, functional and comfortable. We couldn't hear any noises from the pub downstairs or the surrounding area. The lounge was a nice feature where you could reheat meals or make a coffee or tea free of charge. The only thing that could be improved is the doors that slam shut very loudly. They could be padded around the frame to reduce the noise from neighbouring rooms or the shared bathrooms.

The hotel is clean. The shared bathroom / Shower were also clean. Overall experience was pleasing and I would recommend the hotel to others

The place is super new and you feel like I’m a 5 stars hotel. Free parking and the reception staff was super friendly .. the toilettes were the cleanest I’ve ever been in a shared accomodation

Rooms are clean. But unfortunately one of the rooms didn't have its own toilet and needed to go to the public one. Public toilet was clean but still not convenient at all. Apparently it was listed as no private toilet (or something like that) when I booked. But I didn't pay attention. I didnt think shared toilet still exists...

A hostel slightly nearer to the airport for our last day trip, very decent room for us to rest before we head to airport in the midnight. Shower and bathroom is not attached to the room but it is still very nice place to stay. Restaurant just below the hostel that serve nice dinner. Walking distance to tram station.

We loved our stay here. The room was designed really nicely with a super comfy bed. We didn’t have an en-suite room but the shared bathroom is really nice and there is a communal lounge and kitchen too which has all been done out really nicely. The staff were helpful and friendly. Right outside tram stop and train station which goes directly into CBD.

Great central location in Essendonia! Clean and today well serviced rooms. Good meal available!

This hotel is located 20-30 minutes away by Uber from Melbourne Airport. It is a cost-effective place to stay and I highly recommend it. + Cheap + Bus stop right in front of the hotel + Facilities were better than I expected (I was worried because it was a shared bathroom, but it was just like a hotel shower booth and was very clean and privacy was guaranteed, so I didn't feel any inconvenience. Better than most 3-star hotels) + Good service (all staff are friendly) ++ Free drink service available!! When checking in, we give you a voucher for drinks at the pub below for each number of people (really the best...) And you can watch TV, play games (********), etc. while eating light snacks/nibbles at the restaurant or pub next door. I really had a good local experience haha. - There was a lot of dust... The room condition wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either... My throat hurt a bit from all the dust blowing around, but it was bearable. The blankets and pillows looked clean. * There is cereal and milk in the common area, and other people have eaten it, but I haven't tried it. * Self-checkout by returning key * It may be a Roomba room, but it has a car view (don’t expect a view from the room haha) * There is a TV air conditioner in the room, but it is a bit difficult to operate (Netflix does not work) * There are a lot of locals?! Maybe it's because there's a pub... * There is a 7-Eleven nearby (3 minutes on foot) * Expected to take 10-15 minutes to reach CBD I wrote as much as I could. I think it was a double studio. I've attached a photo. Considering the drinks, it was a really cost-effective accommodation... I highly recommend it.
