McDreams Hotel Essen

Westviertel
Always a good stay. Sometimes, during the night a little bit noisy, but is nothing. Next to the city centre, next to a shopping center, next to good restaurants, free parking in a garage and in the street... What else :)
B&B HOTEL Essen-Hbf

Ostviertel
This price is cheap across Europe. The room was very clean, although close to the train station, but it was very clean nearby. The front desk brother of the hotel has a very good service attitude. However, the room space is not too big, the bathroom is relatively small.

Kettwig
The hotel is quiet, super for walks, shopping opportunities, the rhythm and some restaurants are walking away. The owner Arndt is supernice, everything went out completely uncomplicated, competent and friendly. We weren't going to have much about Christmas, so there was no breakfast service, but we were still allowed to use the kitchen and breakfast room, not of course, thank you very much. Since we booked several rooms for the family, it was of course a good way to sit together. The rooms are clean, everything you need. Price performance top.
B&B HOTEL Essen-City

Westviertel
The hotel is part of the B&B chain, so you know in advance what you might expect. Rooms are basic but clean. And definitely OK for a night or for a couple of nights, they have a private bathroom, TV and climate control. Car park is available in front of the hotel (free of charge). The hotel is located just outside the 'Stadkern', it's a ten minute walk to the Limbecker Platz shopping center.

Stadtkern
I was there for a night in connection with a evening stay in the Philharmonic Food. The reception at the reception was friendly (Room was booked via the hotel site on the internet). The relatively quiet single room went out behind. The rooms were simple according to the star standard of the hotel, but everything was very clean including shower/WC. The available WiFi was rather slow. Walls/decks are relatively bright, you hear the neighbors shower in the morning. The very cheap breakfast had everything essential in the offer: bright breads, several bread varieties, coffee machine, div. The hotel is also recommended in view of the low price.
