"The hotel is a 20-minute walk from Essen Central Station and not far from the pedestrian street. It is also convenient to park downstairs in the hotel.
The parking fee is 17.5 euros per night, which is a bit expensive. The parking fee must be paid in advance and post-payment is not accepted. I guess inflation in Europe is still quite severe in the past two years. It seems that prices are skyrocketing, including food and accommodation."

"The hotel location is excellent, right next to the train station. However I had to change 3 rooms as the heating wasn't working properly and there were no staff to attend so I had to keep going up and down to reception to take photos and show them. Also no kettle in the room or complimentary coffee. I was told these were only offered to 'executive' bookings, which is very disappointing as this is pretty much expected these days. Other than that the hotel was fine: clean, safe, spacious, not noisy."

"Clean, hand-faced hotel was a proper hotel. But Essen Hbf had to walk 10-15 minutes. I would have given five stars to the room if there were tea and coffee machine."

"i enjoyed my stay here immensely, the staff were helpful, they gave me a late check in due to travel arrangements & also provided iron & ironing board when I requested it. I would have liked to see milk for the coffee available in my room, & at times the property behind was a little loud. but still an excellent stay"

"I have stayed at this hotel for many times. I think it is one of the best hotels in Essen. It is cost-effective, the hotel is clean and comfortable, the bed is particularly comfortable, the location is also very good, especially the rich breakfast."

"The hotel still needs to walk for ten minutes from bp, the location is ok. There are no toiletries slippers in the room, but you can go to the front desk on the first floor if you need them. German accommodation is more expensive than domestic, but it is worth the price."

GGuest UserHighly recommended. Hotel is next to metro station. Walking distance to Messe Fair, also have a lot of restaurants nearby. The rooms are newly renovated, free coffee and tea are provided. The common rooms/areas are excellent to meet business partners. I definitely will book this hotel in next year.

WWorthVery good, the location is in the city center, very good, very original, and very clean. Did not eat breakfast, there are pancakes and fruits nearby. There is a parking lot, but you need to check in before 11 o'clock, or no one at the front desk can check in and can’t park the car
