Great hotel in great location. Nice sized room with kitchenette. No air conditioning, unfortunately and we had to change hotels. Would stay with them again in cooler months! Close to arboretum and 2 blocks from stores, restaurants. Very clean, front desk very friendly and helpful. Had self laundry (nice instead of paying for them to launder).

We can not thank the staff in the hotel enough! Such kind and helpful people. We broke down on autobahn with a trailer in tow, the not only helped us with calling mechanics, provide safe parking for the car and trailer, lent us tools and let us check out late as we were waiting for rescue people the following day. We slep super well in the best beads ever! Even the kids spare bed was good! We were so tried when we finally arrived in the evening and kids didn’t want to go out to a restaurant, so we made some pasta as there was a stow and small kitchen. The room was very luxurious, sleek interiors with big windows. No noises and comfy pillows of all shapes. The soap and shampoo was very nice, no conditioner, so bring your own. The breakfast in the morning was nice and healthy. We can recommend this hotel 100% to families (great to get a large family room) or any one else going to Essen! Thank you again, we’ll be back for sure!

Das Hotel / Apartmenthaus hat seine besten Zeiten gesehen. Der Wasserhahn in der kleinen Küche leckt, die Wände sind verrammelt und von schmutzigen Händen verfingert, Löcher in den Wänden nicht verputzt Beim Empfang (die einzige freundliche Mitarbeiterin, die ich angetroffen habe) wurde nicht auf den eingeschränkten Reinigungsdienst verwiesen. Die Klimatisierung ist unterirdisch, entweder zu heiß oder zu kalt. Das Frühstück hat eine äußerst eingeschränkte Auswahl. Ich kann dieses Haus wirklich nicht empfehlen.

Das Mintrops Concierge Hotel kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Wir haben das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für ein Wochenende in Rüttenscheid genutzt. Es liegt sehr zentral (25 Minuten zum Folkwang Museum, 5 Minuten von der „Rü“ entfernt. Die Appartements sind sehr schön, modern und stylisch gestaltet, die Betten unglaublich bequem. Das Schlafzimmer erinnert fast an eine Koje, weil es in den Singleappartements räumlich abgetrennt ist. Absolute Empfehlung.
