The hotel's main advantage is its location. Medina and the beach are nearby. Everything else is so-so. All the furniture and plumbing look like they were made in the middle of the last century. The breakfasts don't correspond to 4 stars at all. Instant coffee... Everything that the guests ate for breakfast is no longer replenished. If you come a little later, there will be almost no choice. So the 4 stars of this hotel are from a past life.

It may have been 4 star once. Now it is run down and dirty, managed by staff who don't care. Features include dirty bathrooms with mold and chipped enamel; horrid smells; no water to shower or flush toilets for 3 hours with staff who don't know what to do about it. When we enquired about pool towels at the front desk, the manager rudely grunted 'ask out there' pointing to the bar. We did, and the bar manager retorted, "no, we don't have any!" Not helpful! Breakfast was poor and unhygenic - dirty utensils and plates; tables not cleared or wiped. When I asked for a crepe, the staff picked it up by hand and threw it on my plate. The Orson Welles Suite was so affected by mould and a stench that a new room had to be found. Clearly no maintenence is done. The hotel is in a great location, but never again.

Filthy, rooms old.It says 4 star- maximum 1 star. Not sure ,how do people leave good reviews here . Very bed aftertaste. On the positive note ,the workers are trying to do a good job, the place is across the street from the beach. If you can, skip this motel.

The worst hotel we've ever been to.The room was full of a dump smell and the lights were broken and flickering.Also the bathrooms were very dirty full of dust and the shower water is yellow. The service was terrible. They were out of bed sheets and towels. We will not recommend.

The hotel is located very close to the beach. The hotel also has a swimming pool. The rooms are nice but a bit worn out. There is a fridge in the room but no air conditioning. The internet does not work in the rooms, only in the lobby. The food is tasty.

Well... Where to Start ... I ve been taking group of 22 dancers to Morocco for more than 22 years ... This year we planned Essaouira ... As I worked in collaboration with Hotel des Iles before... I just expected the same welcome we used to get ... But it looks like they have a New Manager who seem to know all and nothing at all ... Our Food during the week was appalling and a mediocre Tasteless with tiny portions and Dry ( Hardly any sauces served) .. That s such a shame as we re in one the best countries of the world when it comes to Food and welcoming ... Plus we had consistent comments on the dancing elements.. why were people dancing ( even in our initial emails it states the purpose of the visit ?????? ( what this got to do with him .... ff..... knows) But I ll have to give credit to the Friendly staff who never fail to please the group.. I don t usually leave Reviews But I feel this needs to reach the main Boss of the Hotel ...
