Les Jardins de Villa Maroc

Best stay i have ever had at a hotel/resort. I had all the names of The staff written down but unfortunately I lost it. Very nice staff, good service, amazing food. But a breakfast buffet would be nice!

Our four-day stay at Les Jardins de Villa Maroc was underwhelming, particularly given the cost. The hotel's appearance was as beautiful as advertised on Instagram, but several aspects of our stay did not meet expectations. We were provided only one bottle of water for the entire stay, with no refills, despite the ongoing heat. The room lacked basic amenities like tea or coffee, and the minimal water supply was not replenished. Breakfast was disappointing with missing menu items and additional charges for water, which should have been included. A spoiled yogurt served at breakfast was not replaced, and the staff dismissed our concerns, citing the heat as an excuse. Lunch did not deliver value for money, being overly expensive for what was offered. The room was generally fine, though the shower had very limited hot water. Dealing with the hotel management was frustrating. I had difficulties obtaining an invoice, which required multiple corrections and took 30 minutes to finalize. The manager was dismissive when we raised issues about the water supply, suggesting we should have simply asked for more. His responses to our concerns were unhelpful, and he did not take responsibility for the problems we encountered. Overall, the lack of attentive service and poor management response significantly impacted our experience. This hotel did not live up to its promises or price point, making it hard to recommend.

Les Jardins de Villa Maroc is a little piece of heaven on the road to Essaouira. From the tranquil setting to the cool, comfortable and elegant interiors of the dome-houses, Les Jardins is the perfect place for couples or for groups of friends to kick-back and relax. The staff are friendly, attentive (but not overbearing) and beyond helpful. The traditional food - whether breakfast, lunch or dinner - was outstanding and plentiful. The pool provided a refreshing antidote to the heat of the day and the area around the pool offered shady places to eat, or to relax with a mint tea and a book or an evening cocktail or glass of wine. Do try a yoga class, massage or traditional Hammam while you are there - they are all superb! All in all, a gem of a place to stay!

A little off the beaten track but absolutely worth the detour. We visited this restaurant for a day with pool access and it was the best day of our holiday! The staff are beyond charming and helpful, the food was the best we had eaten and the pool is glorious….. cannot recommend this place highly enough. Far and above the Heure Bleue in Essaouira centre!

Visited as a family on a day pass to get away from windy Essaouira and it turned out to be a great decision. The place is lovely and relaxing and the staff are really helpful. We loved spending a chilled day by the pool and lunch was delicious. A buffet selection of barbeque meat and many salads plus dessert. We really enjoyed our day here and would certainly go back!

We’ve just returned after 10 nights at this beautiful hotel and had the most relaxing babymoon we could have ever wished for. The property is gorgeous. We stayed in the superior double room which was spacious, had everything we needed. On an evening it would get cooler, so whilst at dinner the staff would make an open fire in our room which was a wonderful touch. We ate at the hotel nearly every single breakfast, lunch and dinner. The evening set menu was never duplicated, they managed my dietary requirements with ease (including making homemade gluten free flatbreads fresh every meal) and the bbq/salad lunch was incredible - we’ve never eaten so wholesomely. None of this would matter if it wasn’t run by a truly customer-centric service team. Nothing was too much trouble, we felt really looked after without being overbearing. A particular shout out to our three servers Khalid, Lutfi and Sharaf - they are a real credit to the business. We first discovered this hotel on a day pass 5 years ago whilst backpacking around Morocco. It captured us back then and we are so pleased we came back for a proper stay. I hope we can bring our growing family back to Les Jardins de Villa Maroc in the future.

This was a last recommendation and turned put to be a truly marvellous day. We booked the day pass with transport provided from the medina. This was one of our favourite days of our holiday and will definitely return for a longer stay. The chilled out atmosphere, exceptional service, food and amenities are why we have given the 5/5 rating. However, worth a mention that the day we went we were the only people at the Villa. We are looking forward to a longer return visit.

the property was excellent, amenities impeccable. my only problem was with the guy at the reception who did not honor the prices from the booking reservations and instead charged us double at check out. when I questioned him he had the audacity to say he didn't know what rate I had pay so he went ahead and provided me with their rate which it was double of what my reservation said in booking. I asked him if you didn't know why you didn't ask me to see my reservation online? people work very hard for their money to be scammed in that manner. He promised a refund and still a few days later I see no refund on my account. stay at this property only if you have excess of money you don't mind losing. make sure you double check your bill at check out. A few weeks later and still no refund. I haven't even gotten a response from a manager. I got a response from the employee who made the error he asked me to take down my review because it was bad for their reputation. These people have time to send a message like this but can't process my refund? is this a joke. is not cool to charge extra and not honor the reservation prices from booking. Do yourself a favor and avoid.

We spent a day here on a day pass to use the pool. The pool was heated, which was great. Our kids enjoyed this break from the city a lot. We were provided with towels upon arrival. Lunch was served at 1:30pm and there was a lavish buffet spread. Everything was fresh and tasty. The price of 320 Dh per adults and 250 Dh per child is fair, as lunch and a shuttle transfer from the Medina was included.
