OK - I'll try and lay this out objectively ... 1. Beware! What you read on the website is not true! 2. I made a non-refundable booking (advantageous for Tangaro surely) only to be told on arrival that I had to pay for breakfast because I had booked non-refundable. On the website, it says that breakfast is included. I should have refused to pay, but I didn't want to make a fuss in front of my children. Another guest I spoke to did very wisely refuse to pay. 3. There is no free shuttle as it says on the website - luckily for us we had hired a car so this wasn't a concern for us. 4. The pool is cloudy and green in a lot of places. 5. There is no management to be seen anywhere so when you try to discuss something that really requires that level of skill, no chance! 6. Generally, the place is pretty run down so don't go if you want a 'hip hotel' On the plus side ... 1. The operational staff are good - special thanks to Amina for being lovely 2. Location is lovely if you want to be a bit outside of the town 3. Pool is a great length if you like to swim and we didn't mind the murkiness 4. The one dinner that we had there was tasty.6. Exactly the sort of place we would love. I do hope what I believe are new owners pay some attention to this place. It needs some TLC. I hope to go back, as despite the downsides, it ticks a lot of boxes for us, but I'd go prepared and I hope this review enables you too as well.
