Booked a week here with a sea view. On arriving we were allocated our room and shown a map of how to get to the room. We were advised about safe hire towel hire etc and given 2 tokens for drinks, the lady on reception explained we needed to exchange these for glasses at the pool bar. At no point did she explain or offer an upgrade of the facilities which we later found disappointing because we certainly would have considered it. Special mention to Josi on reception who was extremely helpful and friendly. We eventually found our room. The room was very spacious and clean. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. The beds are super comfy. The sea view I personally wouldn’t recommend as it was overlooked by roofs from other rooms. I don’t personally think it was worth paying extra. Food and drink. The food was nice and we found something to eat every day. Not very impressed with the cocktails as they were from a machine, however there was plenty of choice for other drinks. Overall the food and drink was good quality. The pool area. The pool area was lovely. Plenty of sun beds and the view was amazing. The animation team were a little annoying at times with the odd burst of loud music followed by a short mostly french commentary on the days schedule, but they were very friendly and not pushy when trying to get people involved. Beach. Beach was absolutely beautiful but be advised it’s a bit of a steep walk back up. Not a problem for us but maybe for the less mobile. Sun beds we 5 euro each and 5 euro if u wanted an umbrella. 2 beach bars close by that were reasonably priced. We had a few lovely days at the beach. Evening entertainment. The evening entertainment was geared towards the French certainly, however the team did there best to involve everyone. We found it mostly a bit boring. The best night was the karaoke when everyone seemed to get involved and enjoyed it. On conclusion we had a lovely holiday and aren’t the type of people to moan about silly little things like a cracked tile or seeing cats around the hotel! We quite enjoyed seeing the few cats that we saw on our way to the room and back. I’d say this hotel is a really good 3 star and we definitely got what we paid for. I’d definitely consider returning if it came up again at the right price

So just back from a weeks chilled holiday with the wife, nice room and food acceptable, drinks just about passable, reception staff very helpful, barmen/women work very hard ,shout out to Miguel who went above and beyond, the biggest let down was the animation although they did try to include the English, some blatantly blanked the British and was noticeable, the evening entertainment was only done in France, although we knew this before we went I couldn't believe just how the British were not included in anything, walked down to the beach and back most days to break the holiday up a bit, wife dud enjoy the gym classes but once again they struggled with the English, wouldn't go back unless the hotel at least tried to include the english

We stayed for 2 weeks and paid the extra for the My Favourite Club. It is not worth the extra money! The food was very good overall but I would recommend staying away from the Nubium Mare Restaurant - portions are absolutely tiny and wait was unacceptable. We went to the ordinary buffet after our dinner and we didnt go the second time. This is not a good hotel for people with mobility issues. Our room was nice enough (and very clean with lovely housekeeping staff) but we had suitcases on wheels which we had to trundle over very uneven surfaces around the pool area. The bathrooms have had the tiles painted and the paint was peeling and just looked worn out. The buffet was varied and there was loads of food choices and overall it was excellent. I cannot fault the food side of things. My Favourite Club guests get to sit in a little sectioned off area of the big dining room but we only ate in their twice as you need to get your food from the buffet and take it to the area which is the furthest from the buffet! We tended to eat outside which suited us better. We took a bottle of wine fromthe MFC area - as it was possibly marginally better - to our outside table. I got a few 'looks' but showed my wristband and nothing was said. The beach is difficult to access down a very steep, wide pathway. The beach itself is sandy, clean and gentle slope to the sea. I think the hotel should have some sun loungers of its own on the beach as peopke have to pay a guy 15 Euros for 2 loungers and an umbrella. The My Favourite Club lounge was rubbish. No atmosphere, blaring music from the animation team and pool immediately below which went on all day. The choice of snacks was very limited in the My Favourite Club Lounge and often there was nothing left. There was a wide variety of self serve alcohol - including some good brands. Lots of bottled beer and pop. Very nice coffee maching in the MFC Lounge. We have previously stayed at Alua Suites in Corralejo which was much better facilities. A nice tip is to wander down the steep path to the beach taking some nuts or fruit for the many chipmunks which come right up to you and beg. They are lovely and will come up and touch your legs to attract your attention if you stop and show any interest. (These are so cute and will race off if you say boo to them.) There is a nice snack bar for drinks (and a clean loo) on the beach so take some Euros with you. There is parking outside the front of the hotel and a car park opposite the entrace. Its a quiet road. The dining room staff are fantastic. Indeed the staff in all the hotel were great. The hotel does look like it needs a refurb and I believe it is currently up for sale. I would not pay the extra for the My Favourite Suite rooms - but they are the nearest to the main hotel and food areas so they are a necessity if you have mobility issues.

This is an excellent hotel with spotlessly clean rooms and excellent staff. We booked 'My favourite club' room. The room (other than an issue on arrival when we were put in a non-club room') was excellent in club block (rooms 6000) and good sea view. You get your own club room next to reception and can enjoy privacy, premium drinks as well as snacks (these were not covered and we did report to management as risk of flies landing on food when doors to terrace were opened. Simple to fix but not done while we were there!!). For these reasons marked as 4 instead of 5. The meals were varied but reasonable variety but generally warm rather than hot as others have reported. We ate late in evenings so perhaps food got colder. Breakfast good as well. The hotel is about 1.5hrs away from the airport so take that into account. The walk to the beach from the hotel is 15min slow downhill walk (path most of the way) and slower back uphill. The hotel rooms are in blocks on a terrace above the beach. There is a bus short uphill walk from the hotel (no 1 or 5) BUT as it comes from regional areas often full and you will NOT be allowed on if no seats. The fare is only 1.40 Euros so cheap . Getting back is easier as bus less full.

Upgrade to My favourite club essential. Perfect for a quiet holiday. Food ok. Staff lovely. My room great with patio area. Staff friendly and helpful. Beach bit of a downhill walk but worth the walk. Miles of soft sand with black volcanic rocks.

Very good hotel. Stayed here for 9 nights with my girlfriend for our birthdays. Don’t listen to the bad reviews, staff were all friendly and food was solid throughout the time we stayed there. San Miguel on draught. No need to bring towels, €10 deposit which you get back at the end of your stay. The entertainment was mainly french but still a good laugh regardless. The my favourite club didn’t look worth it at all in our opinion, cut off from the rest of the hotel. We considered it after reading reviews before coming but so glad we didn’t do it after our stay. We had a standard room, it was modern and clean and had a sea view, however I don’t think all rooms had the sea view. The only issue we found was it was a bit remote for my liking, had to get taxis etc to most nearby towns and attractions. Overall the experience was much better than expected for the price we paid, would 100% come back.

This was a last minute cheap week away with my daughter. The hotel exceeded expectations. Food was lovely. Staff all very friendly. Parts of the hotel are a little tatty but this didnt impact our overall experience. We upgraded to My Favourite Club and it was really worth it. The lounge and terrace are lovely and a little haven away from the hustle and bustle. Room was also closer to the main hotel with a great view. MFC came with a stocked fridge, a welcome gift, free safe, no towel deposit, can eat in the a la carte as many times as you like, separate area in dining room and the lovely lounge and terrace with premium drinks and snacks. We hired a car and visited all the stunning beaches in the area.

Spent a week here in late February. I have to say, I went without particularly high expectations given the price point, and couldn't have been happier with what we got in the end. The hotel is beautiful - the view as you walk into the lobby out over the ocean and the pools is stunning - a great start. We hired a car, and there was free parking on-street right out front, so no issues there. There's nothing else in the immediate vicinity, so no concerns about security or anything like that. Check-in was straightforward - the chap on the desk was very friendly, and it was all sorted seamlessly in a matter of minutes. The facilities on-site are pretty good - again, bear in mind the price bracket of where you're staying and it all seems pretty fair. The pools are a little tired looking, but spotlessly clean (as is everywhere else), and there's a limited amount else to do on-site (outdoor table tennis table, indoor pool table, french boules area). The gym is functional, with a nice outdoor exercise space and plenty of weights/equipment for a holiday workout. There is also an indoor pool, jacuzzi and spa which we didn't use, but they looked popular and in good shape. Room - clean and comfortable. The major drawback here is that our double bed was actually two singles pushed together, so they had a tendency to slide apart with any significant movement. Depending on your relationship that might be a bonus - I slept great all week! Again, nothing fancy, but perfectly serviceable for all the time you spend in it, and all the basic UK channels on the TV if you want a taste of home. Food - again it's affordable all-inclusive, so temper expectations - but we had no complaints. Partner is a vegetarian and I'm essentially a carnivore, and there was plenty to eat at every meal for both of us. Each night is themed to a cuisine, and some are better than others, but I was pleased. There's a different 'live' station every night, so freshly cooked fish and meat are in plentiful supply. Drinks - this is probably the biggest let down. There is plenty available, but the quality is fairly poor. They have passable house wine available at every meal (red, white, sparkling), as well as draft lager, which is fine. They have bars open pretty much all day serving the same wine, draft and bottled beer, and pre-mixed cocktails (which are generally pretty awful - sickly sweet). You can buy 'premium' cocktails, which to be fair are freshly made and good quality, but 6 euro a pop if you don't want the stuff coming from the fountain. We're not big drinkers, so it wasn't a deal breaker, but this is the only area where I felt we were at a budget resort after all. Location - There is a beautiful beach about 5 minutes' walk down the hill - it's a bit steep and uneven in parts, so not great if you have mobility issues, but fine for the most part. There are two (unaffiliated) bars on the beach that close around sunset, but nice for a change of scenery (and decent drinks). Other than
