Club Jandia Princess

Staff, facilities and complex: terrific! We chose this particular resort as had stayed at one of the sister hotels in Gran Canaria last year. We had a spacious room with balcony and ocean view (Block 8). What we particularly liked about Jandia was the different pool areas for relaxing; family, chill, adult only and naturist. There was also good beach access for those that wanted to walk along the coast or take a dip in the sea. There is a beach bar with toilets but we understood this wasn't open 7 days a week (however, this might change throughout the season). Being all inclusive, you have to accept that meal times can be hectic, but you soon get used to where everything is and the food choice was good (lots of fish, not so much chicken). Beer, wine and soft drinks are available via self service, with spirits, cocktails and coffee available from the bar. (top tip: spirits are long measures!! Order on its own, get your mixer from the self serve and add spirit to the soft drink). Good to know: 1. If you like your morning cuppa, check your room has a kettle 2. Pool towels are provided 3. WiFi is free, but only two devices could be connected 4. There is a Mercadona just across the road if you need it 5. Plenty of parking if you have a hire car 6. Bus stop is close by 7. Taxis appeared to be readily available outside hotel

Had a great 2 weeks in this hotel. Staff are very nice, the international animation team, specially Claudia and Maria went out of their way to make sure the guest had fun and join archery competition, volleyball, bachata lessons, aquaaerobics and many more. Their smiles, and energy was also great to see, also when they did performance they gave it their all, they are fabulous dancers as well!!!Well done ladies! The wellness programme was very good and Marion did superb with the SUPyoga, pilates, back exercise and to top it off the sauna rituals! She is very helpful and encouraging as well. DeSouza was always so nice and other stuff that stood out was Luna,Rafael, Francisco (great cook), Erik on the floor bar were always so thoughtful, happy and of great assistance. While the hotel could use a removation, as its a bit dated, the staff make it a great place!

Hotel booked by my partner Nina as a surprise for my birthday, when we arrived check in was fast and efficient reception staff were friendly patient answering any question we had on arrival. Room location was in the Adults area and was a small walk from reception. The room was clean spacious with everything we needed for our stay, the bed was comfy one of the best nights sleep I have had and a view looking towards the sea from the balcony. Food in the restaurant was to a very good standard it was warm and plentiful always being replenished when running low, I found that we was never short of different things to have for breakfast, lunch and evening meals, the staff in the restaurant gave 100% always chatty and friendly. We also had included in our stay was a meal in the La Choza Restaurant which we chose to have to have on my birthday we had to go to reception area to book, the only downside was it was very busy and waited in the que for at least 30 minutes but once we got into the booking office we was greeted with a smile and shown a menu our order was taken and we picked a day. And I can say the meal was amazing and also the waiting staff. One thing I would like to see in the main restaurant is in the evening meal that dinning attire was enforced a bit more, like no sandals long trousers (men) smart shirt or T shirts. Pool areas and gym: The main large pool looks looks brilliant and every one seem to be enjoying it I can not comment on water temperature as we did not use the pool, like wise with the swim up bar in the adults area it was busy but we did not use. I did use the gym a few times but found it a bit out dated but useable. The adult naturist area was nice and this is where we spent most of our time chilling, there was a sandwiches brought in and refrigerated and a good selection of drinks available. I did make use of the steam room and sauna where a little menthol aroma in them but overhaul they was very clean. On the 22nd November we decide on a long walk to Morro Jable took us about 40minutes each way, and to my surprise when we returned to the hotel that evening there was a bottle of Sparkling wine and a card compliments from the hotel which was a lovey touch. I am sure there is plenty I have missed out but I never have wanted to return to a hotel before as much as I do this one and we have booked again for this November. On the last note hands on my heart all the staff I met gave 100% friendly and professional, food amazing well done to all.

Absolutely amazing loved my stay here, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The place its self was very clean and gorgeous. Food was amazing so much selection.

Arrived at 9pm really tired. Block 5 level 3. Woke up in a mood , not sure I liked it. Anyway. 7 days on we have had a great holiday. Liked it in the area by the Chill out pool. Room was always sorted for us. Meals ok. Walked to Morro Jable all along the beach 4.5 miles. Went 3 miles the other way l. The beach goes on forever. Climbed the mountain opposite Tui Magic life. Staff excellent , weather amazing.

The hotel is very beutiful . We like the hotel and the staff especialy fatima she is very very very nice . Definitly we come back this samer . The food us very very tasty and they have a lot of choices The ubucation is very nice for desconection very recomed!!!!

Let me start by saying that these are my opinions, Firstly we had booked to adult only for a 5 night break, on arrival around 13:00 we were told that the room was not ready and go and have something to eat and drink and come back at 14:30, this was not a problem, but at 14:30 they had to chase up housekeeping to see if it was ready. Finally got in the room which was looking a little tired as was the outside of the building (large cracks on the walls and floors, but as I said the room was looking tired but useable. On further inspection for a 4 star I would expect better as there was only 1 power socked what was useable in the bedroom with a converter socket, when it was reported I hopped it would be resolved but they stated no they worked with their plugs so did not need to be fixed so beware. We were also surrounded by families in the area we were in block 1, we did expect it to be adult due to screaming kids. The pool areas were a bit hit and miss, mainamily pool looked Ok if a little noisy, the larger of the adult pool was surrounded with decking which was damaged and in need of repair and the sun beds are in need of replacement, the smaller adult pool also had cracked tile around the pool. The All Inclusive has 3 tiers which after arrival you can upgrade to, in my opinion these are not worth the money, broadband was poor or non existent but you can pay for access, should be free on the whole site in my opinion. The bars were ok on the most but the best was the sports bar and the staff were great. The restaurant food was of a good standard, there was always a good choice. Overall not a bad stay but in need of refurbishment which they have been saying on the Facebook page it has been due for a couple of years. Would I return no not at this time
