The only reason I gave 2 stars was because of the pool and one of the members of staff behind the bar. The accommodation was in desperate need of upgrading or atleast maintenance and a good clean, but because of the price I paid, I wouldn’t settled for just proper cleanliness. You do get what you pay for. I found the owner of the hotel rude and her twin sons even worse. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. They actually snapped at you and were aggressive, and I was really making an effort to smile and be nice. I didn’t see the twins smile once. Another customer had checked in and an hour later he was literally fuming at poolside because of the way he’d been spoken to. The long haired man (who I think is the twins older brother) was civil. The only reason to stay here is because of the pool and they know that’s the selling point. I didn’t see a pool to match it close by. If you catch them on a better day and spend lots of money in their bar, they’ll be nicer to turn on the charm. If you go elsewhere for entertainment, they’ll let you know they don’t like you! Don’t believe me?…go and stay there and come back to me….

Very basic accomodation but clean. Kitchen and shower needs updating , very sparse utensils and no bread knife, quite annoying, no hangers in wardrobes. ( provided on request) Balcony furniture old , some chairs not stable . Bar staff were lukewarm. Walked everywhere …a good 20 mins from Sidari but no pavements. Most redeeming feature was the very large pool which was great, swam everyday but pity it closed at 6.00pm.

very poor experience we booked a 2 bedroom apartment and was tried to be forced into a studio with one double bed for myself and my mother I am 49 my mother is 70 if we book and pay for a 2 bedroom accommodation I don’t see why we should have had to feel bad or had to practically bed for what we had paid for, we were not upgraded as a good will gesture like the management appear to have tried to of claimed. Infact 2 other guests who were originally put in our apartments were asked to move room baring in mind they were a couple this mistake shouldn’t have happened anyway, but even more importantly it was us me and my mum that had the jobs of remaking the beds as well as sincerely apologised to the other guests for the inconvenience caused (through no fault of our own) and my mother and me brought this couple a drink at the hotel bar to apologise for the inconvenience, which we was happy to do but there was no sincere accountability nor an apology for this inconvenience to either myself and my mother nor the poor couple whom had to uproot their room at 9:30pm. We sadly found the hotel customer service very low on standards all bar one member of staff, I was very unhappy with the way I was spoken to by certain members of the hotel staff. It was honestly the most unpleasant and unwelcoming holiday of my life! I wish I could give a more positive review but sadly I can’t and I am extremely well traveled I have gone all over the world I go away 3 times a year every year and I have stayed in luxurious 5star all inclusive to basic 1 star hotels so I am far from uneducated nor untraveled and nor do I have no cultural experience . I can honestly say that this unfortunately was the poorest holiday of my life, and I can honey say the hotel basic which I was expecting, was still a far lot worse then I expected and the hygiene of the hotel was incredibly below the simple basic standards, on top of the beds they were absolutely terrible sadly. Rock hard like laying on concrete. I will give credit where due the pool was very nice plenty of sun beds and the barman in the evenings was incredibly nice and extremely entertaining. Unfortunately the rest of the staff seemed to be very unwelcoming and rude. I certainly would never return to this hotel, but I would return to corfu I would also like to point out I have been to Corfu before as well most of the other Greek islands and unfortunately this experience was the poorest by far amd I’ve never stayed at such a poor quality room!

Well to say this holiday was a letdown would be the understatement of the century. And I am writing this review because I had such a poor experience in this hotel all bar one lovely member of staff who quite frankly his skills and amazing customer service and hospitality is the only reason I did not check out on day 2 he skills should be in a luxury 5 star hotel rather then being the only member of staff at this complex that was friendly welcoming and approachable! My mum had posted a factual genuine review after our trip in September I wasn’t going to write a review as my mother had already but seeing the aggressive and rude and most importantly lies in the response to my mum’s review by the hotel owner is not acceptable! She has started me and my mum arrived and said we hated each other and demanded a second room and she had as a good will gesture upgrade ld is to a 2 bedroom apartment for free!!! What the actual hell??? We had booked and paid for a 2 bedroom apartment and on arrival they tried to make us share a studio with one double bed. I am 44 my mum is 70 I have trouble sleeping so always no matter where I go book my own room whether it be 2 separate hotel rooms or an apartment with a bedroom for myself. This was not us being difficult or asking for anything other than what we had paid for and I am incredibly insulted by the response to my mother who is a nice kind easy going 70 year old lady. Everything reviewed and reported is 1000% factual and accurate and honest

We have been to Sidari every year since 2016. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The first year, we became friends & the year after we became family. One year my 2 eldest daughters 17 & 15 went alone Damia & her family looked after them like they were their own. Damias feels like home from home. They are kind, helpful and a bloody good laugh. I have 4 children and they absolutely adore them all. I can’t wait to go back and see them all again next year!

Home away from home, come to Damias every year since 2017, and will continue to do so. Rooms are always clean and Damia, George, Loukis and Nikos are my second family now. Such a great atmosphere surrounded by lovely welcoming people 🩷🩷🩷 xx

The bed was hard so was the pillows. The kitchen had one big pot and a kettle. The lady was vey nice and polite but the other staff were just rude. The only good thing about this place was the pool. The road to the town centre did not have a footpath so you had to walk in the road and the cars and vans really did not care if they hit you

I arrived at Damia's on 11/9/24 for a week, my second visit this year, and ended up staying 4 weeks until 11/10/24 - my health hasn't been good so needed the break. When a place gets excellent reviews on it's own merit I don't tend to leave a tripadvisor review (the hotel sells itself), but this time, due to a number of recent bad reviews I felt I should step up to the mark. I have been coming to Corfu for 28 years and to Sidari since 2007 (working in a hotel for 4 of those years - not Damia's) - so I have experience from both sides, as customer and hotel worker. Damia's listing doesn't pull any punches you can see what you are paying for. A longish walk into Sidari, 2km (but savvy travellers check the various sites to check this and don't book if too far). 6 euro taxi fare (so 3 euro per person for a couple - no more than a bus ticket at home). So many lovely restaurants locally within walking distance that no dinner menu wasn't a major issue (I still managed to put on weight). The staff are all lovely and, from personal experience, I know how hard it is to put up with rude, destructive, belligerent customers who, when rightly taken to task by the hotel owners for their behaviour, are hostile to the staff - and interestingly enough leave grossly unfair reviews and get friends and relatives to also add to these reviews! These same people made my holiday unpleasant by their behaviour! Shame on you!
