I realise Hamburg is an expensive city, but I was slightly disappointed by the lack of facilities. At this price, I was somewhat surprised that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The variety of breakfast foods was impressive and tasty, but not sure it was good value for money at an extra €19. The hotel is certainly cosy and comfortable, but is a long way away from downtown Hamburg and you will need to take the 234 bus (just 100 metres away) down to Bergedorf, then a couple of S-Bahn trips to get you to Hamburg central. The staff were great and I slept very well (although I did need to ask for a second pillow). The draft Landgang beer served at the cosy bar is very tasty! Just think I was expecting a little bit more bang for my buck.

We stayed at the Alt Lohbrügger Hof for a trip to Hamburg. We received a very friendly welcome and checking in was quick and easy. We took the standard room and that was also perfectly fine. It had a TV and a small bathroom. So everything was perfect. We booked including breakfast. The breakfast buffet was always plentiful and everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. The breakfast staff were also more than great. Very friendly and always attentive. The public transport connections were great for getting into the city. We decided to use the Hamburg Card as a ticket. It had lots of advantages and you got discounts at various attractions. All in all, TOP. Anyone who books a room in this hotel has done everything right. Thank you again and see you soon.

We were on our way to Denmark and made a stopover here near Hamburg. Excellent experience. Very quiet location, not far from the motorway exit. Well-kept rooms with every comfort. The breakfast was also complete.

Ein sehr ruhige, gelegenes, sehr schönes Hotel vor den Toren Hamburgs Eine Spitzenküche und auch ein super Frühstück. Kann ich jedem nur empfehlen, absolut lohnenswert. Ich fahre hier mit meinem über 80-jährigen Vater und kann dieses Hotel, nur jedem weiterempfehlen

Der Service und die Betreuung während meiner Tagung waren einfach super. Das Essen ist richtig gut. Alle sind super nett und immer darum bemüht das es einem gut geht. Die Zimmer sind total gemütlich. Ich war schon das 2 mal da und definitiv nicht das letzte mal.

Aufgrund eines Todesfalles in unserer Familie verbrachten wir mehrere Nächte im Hotel. Wir fühlten uns äusserst wohl. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Frühstücksbüffet lässt keine Wünsche offen inklusive bestem Kaffee von der Maschine. Auch der Preis von 20 € ist absolut angemessen wenn man weiss was die Lebensmittel heutzutage kosten. Gerne wieder

We hebben echt nog nooit zo een schoon hotel gezien. Een 10. Kamers zijn oubollig naar heel erg netjes. Het ontbijt is een aanrader en alles zo lekker en vers. Voldoende parkeren en heerlijk rustig Minpunten zijn de kwaliteit van de koffie en de chagrijnige receptiemedewerkers. Er kan bij beiden geen lachje of vriendelijk woord af.
