The Ponderosa Inn was a quaint, small inn in Escalante, Utah. We stayed in the Riverbend Retreat room. The room was modern but had a ranch cabin feel, you can tell thought, caring and pride was taken with the setup. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, appreciated the shampoo/conditioner and body wash dispenser in the shower, the water in the fridge, snacks on the table and the use of the ice machine to fill our cooler. Our original plans were to stay two nights, and which we had to take advantage of the grills. Natalie was terrific to work with when we had to change our reservation, she kept in contact the day of, responding to immediate questions, giving info of the room we were booked in, and instructions to get into the room. Natalie also provided a recommendation for dinner, Circle D, just a 2 min walk from the Inn... great hamburgers, even better fries.
