We had a lovely stay at Mar Hall. Despite the ongoing works it is very clean and the we could hardly hear any of the construction work. On arrival, the receptionist was lovely and welcoming. She showed us around which was a lovely touch. We had a deluxe room. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Exactly what we needed for a couples night away. The leisure facilities were clean and the staff were friendly. I would be interested to go back for a spa day. Dinner was lovely, again the staff were great. Very friendly, and welcoming but also professional. It was nice sitting with a cocktail in front of the open fire after our meal. We are already talking about coming back. It was definitely value for money but equally, I am excited to see what it will be like after all the upgrades.
